Impressive fighting ---taking down the big guy on the Collector ship without your heavy weapon! You are at the heart of ME2 now. The interactions with characters are what everyone remembers, even though the battles are varied and epic. Your comments with Thane, your de-briefing with Miranda ---can't wait for the other loyalty missions!

"Why is Shepard so cringey" I mean, she's a badass most of the time, she has to have some quirks 😆

I'm a little surprised you chose the Widow head-deleter over the Revenant bullet-hose, but it is my favorite choice of those three weapons. If you upgrade your sniper damage in the tech lab, put incindiary, armor piercing, shredder, or warp ammo on it, hit your adrenaline rush hotkey as you scope up, and click on a head, you can often remove that enemy from the fight in one shot. The Widow excels at killing armor; Krogan and Collectors have particularly easily-clickable heads. Its weakness is the very slow rate of fire, as each magazine only has one shot in it. Don't forget that you have it when you get to Tuchanka! When Eli gets to that spot, you won't get to pick a super-powered example of the three big weapon types, instead you'll get to chose one of the three categories to be able to carry at all. Brown Dwarfs are the awesome-as-hell transitional objects between stars and Jupiter-like gas giants. Many are actually believed to glow magenta with hydrogen-to-duterium fusion, but lack the mass to fuse hydrogen to helium. Some even have molten iron rain! Don't worry, none of this is represented in the game, it's just fun to share. As for your observation about ME2 focusing on the squad's family drama, some in the community call the SR2 "The SSV Daddy Issues". You're getting really close to, like, half a dozen Virmire-level decisions. Don't sweat it, you'll do fine.

It blows my mind that I still see things I never knew, or saw in my playthroughs. I thought I saw it all, but it's cool because it made me start another playthrough myself. I just found out Wrex in ME 1 said to eat my enemies. I never saw that before. And more!

Yeah, the Collector ship is probably one of the creepiest missions, and one of the most challenging. Good move to continue building your team. If you'd have gone after the IFF now you'd have skipped about another 20 hours worth of content! Quite the revelation, finding out the Collectors were once the Protheans huh?

FYI: If you don't flirt with Kelly, she won't feed your fish... and more bad things down the line...

yeah the collector ship is defintely a creepy sounding ship. It will put your nerves on edge the first time through lol. Luv the headband it reminds me of a singer from the 80's but I am old enough to remember those days lol.

Ranting, raving, raging!!! Look, we all hate IM but can we agree that he got some essential things done? If it was all up to the Alliance, I can't imagine much progress would have been made... But don't worry Shen, you will get there...

I admire your commitment to ignoring your heavy weapons! 😂 The Praetorian goes down much easier with the Collector Particle Beam. Still, impressive to take it down conventionally. When I play as soldier, I can't not take the Revenant machine gun. Huge capacity (600 rounds v the 120 of the Vindicator) and effective from middle range, devastating up close. Though it takes practice to control the major recoil it has. Still, the Widow is a great sniper rifle and particularly effective on Garrus or Thane. The whole Collector ship mission is heavy going. They nailed the creepy atmosphere though.

You now have the option of romancing Kelly, getting the the point of inviting her for dinner triggers 3 things: romance option; offer to feed your fish; something else that happens later that is a spoiler and dependant on later decisions. Like any extremist group, Cerberus targets the vulnerable (Miranda) and frustrated (Joker, Jacob) and twists their emotions to get them to join and excuse their unethical actions. How many "mistakes" is too many before you realise the mistake wasn't choosing to do doing the wrong thing, it was failing to get away with it? Lame from Miranda about Jack, Praggia was only shut down because the kids rebelled.

Really enjoying the playthrough. And I wholeheartedly support your Shepard deciding to flirt with Thane.

You did really well Shhen, the Collector ship is a Lot to take in. Also saw a comment about the Revenant and yeah it’s definitely fun huiuuuge magazine Capacity which is fun however the Cerberus Mattock is way more accurate and definitely more powerful per shot. The widow is an absolute powerhouse, just a little slow for my liking, however Thane pr Garrus with one is just awesome. This mission certainly marks a changing point for the characters so lots of realizations and feels coming your way. Hints No Spoilers, once you have done his Loyalty mission speak with Mordin, a lot he is a great source of Info and quite surprising Remember to Scan and probe as many planets as possible for resources and anomalies, even the Local cluster as all planets have something to offer. I don’t think any other game gets players more invested emotionally in their characters than Mass Effect does and it’s a true joy to see others having reactions as real and often emotional as mine. Also hope you’re feeling better 😊

One of the creepiest missions in any computer game, especially the first part (not The creepiest; Thief, and The Cradle is unmatched in that respect imo).

Don’t forget you have another dossier, an asari justicar is ready to join your crew. There’s no more kidnapping missions and you’re free to do the IFF at your leisure. It’s not really a point of no return but it kind of is. No spoilers but let’s just say a timeline begins then, that’s all I’ll say. It’s “time sensitive”, after that point. You are free to do as you pleas and in some ways it is back seating to warn you. The games are intended to be played multiple times and it’s assumed your first run might be a disaster. You even have your own second play through to get it right or even get it wrong on purpose if you want. Still. I recommend taking the advice on this one, the game even kind of hints at getting things done before proceeding (aside from Jacob).

Garrus and Thane I think would be more likely to compare sniper rifle specs.

I think when Shepard was rebuild by Cerberus they made her cringey 🤣😂. I guess the Illusive Man is not going to be in your Christmas card list, 😅🤣😂. Look all I can say about TIM is for you to finish the games then read the books and comics, and maybe, perhaps it will give you insight on who he is why he does things the way he does, it probably won't change your view on him but at least you'll have all the information for a better view. As for escaping the Collector ship, it's funny how how Mordin agreed with TIM's actions. Also I think the reason why Jacob was more gun ho about going after the Collectors s because he's a soldier and waiting for military personnel is pretty stressful, while Miranda can analyse it from a more practical way. As for Thane's problem with his son, it's best to understand Drell culture better, that way you'll be able to understand his reasoning, it's quite fascinating. If I might suggest you start by getting your last recruitment on Illium, and then either start knocking off loyalty missions or help out Liara while you are still on Illium. As always I enjoy watching you navigate your missions, squad mates, and Cerberus, it's quite the adventure.
