The trailer does not do this movie Justice... This is great movie and Kim should have been nominated for an Oscar for her role...she plays full spectrum here. Kim plays her role so well you actually go from loving her, to hating her, then feeling terribly sorry for her... that was s a great accomplishment not many actors can pull off... This is a classic and there is just something special about this movie one of the best from this era and the mood in the setting captures the script perfectly. Hard to believe this film is not recognized more by critics. My wife actually love this movie herself so this appeals not only to men but to women highly recommended
I thought kim was just the next pretty actress they trotted out, boy was i wrong! First of all she's beautiful and second she's one of the best actors I've ever seen!

Originally released by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures in 1964 and RKO Radio Pictures for 1934 version, Warner Bros. & Turner Entertainment Co. currently owns both films for 1934 & 1964 version.
One of the most engaging and naturally unfolding realistic poignant movies that I've ever seen and the music theme could not have been selected better the elements intertwine black and white film gave it a Time. It was just so believable and heart-wrenching
Cinco estrelas ***** Kim, uma das atrizes mais encantadoras do cinema mundial. Laurence Harvey, excelente desempenho; Grande ator. Filme, ótimo, mas triste . Concedo o prêmio máximo !
I just saw the one with Bette Davies which was terrible. Critics don't like this one but I wish I could've been watching it instead of the Auld Cow Eyes . Kim Novak is convincing in this trailer and at least she's beautiful enough so I can imagine someone can be desperately in love with her (unlike ms davies, who looks like she comes from a sturdy peasant stock).
As much as I love Novak, she was terribly miscasted. She only worked well when she could relate to her characters, and Mildred was far removed from who she is
Oh you lads havent heard Brit alternative Pop singer Alison Moyet..of 'yazoo' , who stems from Billarakay, Essex, UK. so its safe to say all ladies from Essex County have lusty deep voices like a Kim Novak or Allison Moyet lass.
yes it is and it was a great book and made 3 times in the movies: 1934 bette davis/ 1946 eleanor parker and 1964 kim novak ...the men were just as good as leslie howard--1946 was paul henreid which is a kooler version of leslie's and 1964 with laurence harvey ---all were great and lil different in many ways but all black and white i believe too,,enjoy
