I never said all their work wasn't amazing. I just simply said this is the only album that hasn't been to heavy for me to listen to.

Don't get me wrong I love their screaming, but I think those songs are just hypnotic and beautiful and really just wow.

But yes I do know bands change, AFI is my favorite band for fucks sake I understand this its just i that I sorta grew out of nu metal, I used to love tdg breaking Benjamin and disturbed but all te stuff tdg is putting out now with Matt I do not like,disturbed idek what happened to them with their lay couple albums and breaking Benjamin hopefully has a sick comeback but nowadays me and I know a lot of other don't really like the medium paced sorta hard not really nu metal style from 2003-7 anymore. People say they grew up but idk they're kinda going 2007 but hey for nu metal they are awesome back in the 4th and 5th grade I woudve loved this "I know I'm hella young" but now and with how they were in the past I just am losing the passionate love I have for them. I mean I'm wearing an Austin carlile or die braclet rn lol I love this band im just sorta worried they'll go down a musical path that I grew out of but hey for anyone that loves this kinda music I hope they discover them if they keep with this style because they're good at what they do and I hope the new fans will enjoy then as much as I have :)......but I'm still seeing them in May XD here's hoping they'll play the flood and s&s my 2 fav songs by them

I understand where you're coming from but it's hard to accept a new sound when you like a band for their specific sound and then you don't wanna listen to them anymore because their new music style isn't your taste. Good music is hard to find and it sucks to lose it once you've found it.

rockyourselfout123 Okay but, get this? Bands change their style in music as they grow. They aren't going to have the same sound they had in 2010 in 2015. There's plenty of good music to be found in the world, you just have to open up to new sounds. But seriously if you can't open up to their newer sound, just go and listen to their old ones and stop complaining about "how much they've changed."

caleb Reedy damn dude, 😂😂😂 killen 'em. I totally agree with this. This big of a transition from metal core to this mainstream nu metal shit is too much(sorry for sounding so hipster like). They don't appreciate what their old fans have done and how dedicated they were to the band, they just want to appeal to the largest fan base, and that was no longer the metal core crowd for them.

Kiki Claw they're the nicest people ever. They really talk and listen and are extremely sweet, not like a lot of bands who just brush fans off.

so I listened to their older stuff and all their music sounds great idk why people are complaining. Just because they changed a bit doesn't mean they became bad.
