A friend of mine is really into a bunch of underrated bands that make super good music. I got her to make me a playlist and I think i just fell in love with this band
It's live, they can do what they want. It's still brilliant, and the single best song i have heard this year. Blows all the other X Factor and R n'B crap out of the water.
As been a musician myself for over 40 years i think these kids are very talented and they know what they're doing i love Ragga she is the most talented of the band and i cant see any thing wrong with them.considering they come from a place where there is not much to do.you go people and you rock ! i love you Ragga keep it up baby! Nanna is very cute as well..............................Dave Aparicio ....Montebello Ca.
I don't care what you call this group. There's no denying it, Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir is a talented singer and artist and her music is so wonderful to listen to. With other artists from Europe such as Florence and the Machine, Imogen Heap and Enya ... we're seeing an emergence of young talented artists. I can't wait to hear more from this young lady. Keep it up, Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir, and keep bringing us this great music.
Whats funny is when i found out about this band (Before they were Famous) I told my little brother that these guys would become famous. He didn't believe me.
It was only when I saw them in Oakland for Not So Silent Night 2012 that I realized why Nanna looks so familiar. She looks very similar to the daughter on the show Parenthood!
I wish Nanna wouldn't sing this so staccato. She has an amazing voice, and she seems like she's holding herself back. Great performance still, I just wish her voice sounded fuller here.
When I first heard the studio version I assumed it was a 'manufactured' track (it was just so good). My faith in the world is restored by these ego and bullshit free visionaries. Gaze upon this; THIS is talent, THIS is art
As a fat blonde dude with a beard myself, I'd like to thank Of Monsters and Men for giving me hope and proving that it doesn't matter what you look like if you make rad music.
everyone sounds different when live in concert. ever listen to the radio version??? she has a very nice voice that fits this song. plus they both have their own accents as well and that plays a part in how she sings.
