I do believe that is, indeed, Linda Ronstadt. There's no way to know for certain, though, unless you can get the Muppet Show on DVD somewhere.

yeah it certainly wasn't aimed at kids.. it was aimed at adults, but always had an appeal with kids i think that can be said for many of Jim's projects and i'm sure he was okay with that. Today muppets are considered for children, and possibly even a novelty act at that.. sad.. soo sad

Today kids would be watching Britney Spears not only in a sexy dress, but also dancing in ways which seem to exude promiscuity. At least the kids of my generation saw Raquel dancing with some classy talent on a creative show.
