Premier and Golden Guinea breweries are all indigenous breweries that no criminal suppose to mess with. Premier breweries is the brain child of Golden guinea breweries extension which became property of Anambra state after the division of defunct East central state in 1975 when premier was still under construction. Today Golden Guinea remains the property of Abia state while Arthur Eze and his group is claiming to own Premier breweries. Governor Peter Obi tried to recover Premier breweries from Arthur Eze to rehabilitate it to full functional operational level during his tenure but this criminal Arthur Eze became a big obstacle. Then Peter Obi went into joint venture with a south African company to establish Hero Beer at Onitsha on behalf of Anambra state government since Arthur Eze refuses to give up Premier Breweries that belong to the state. Orji Uzor Kalu tried to buy the Golden Guinea breweries at a give away price when he was their governor but People of Abia state fought back at him to the extent of threatening his life if he ever manipulated his way to buy the Golden Guinea breweries. Today Golden Guinea breweries is still in a full operational and serving Abia state while premier Breweries has gone out of business forever.
