I found you a month or so ago. I cannot tell you how you have inspired me! I turned 65 today. I was a police officer for 30 years and never really wore makeup due to the issue of working in a "man's world". The one statement you said struck gold with me. You said it was OK to just practice with it, no one had to see me. I mimicked what you do in your videos and for the first time, I'm getting compliments on how I look. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!! ❤❤❤

I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to see an older woman doing makeup and just looking like a normal (albeit very pretty!) person. There's so much fear around aging and I thought I was immune to it until I hit my mid-thirties and started to panic at the amount of wrinkles starting to show up so it's nice to have these reminders that it's FINE and just a part of life!

I discovered you a few months ago. I just had a birthday and turned 75. Let me tell you, your videos are a Godsend to me. I've always been a girly girl type of girl, but as I got into my 70's, I began to think maybe it was time to just forget about makeup, nails and all those beautiful things we used to do when we were younger. But seeing you and how happy and beautiful you are and still loving your makeup like you did when you were younger,band how beautiful you looked, I was inspired to keep on going. After all, age is just a number, and why give up because we have reached a certain age. You showed me that we should never give up on our selves, and keep doing the things we did in our youth. So I've been trying everytime I get up in the morning, to take care of my face, how I dress, and even jewelry. Because, why not. You know Patty, life is so short, and we need to make each day count and very special. You inspired me to think this way. And I live your channel, and all the things you talk about. Gosh, Patti, I feel like we are sisters from another mother! We have been going to Ft Walton since the 60's! In fact, we stayed for Camille in 1969! Our youngest son (of 3) bought a 3 BR condo on the beach a few years ago. I will be 80 this summer. I quilt, crochet, cross stitch, needle point, punch needle, wool craft, anything else new and crafty. We also live in the woods on Kentucky Lake. I was a nurse, in Nashville, where we lived for 65ish years, before retiring and building our home here. We would have retired to the beach but for our grandchildren and great-grands. Our boys and my husband of 60 years in June, have an annual trip to Pensacola, in October, for the Blue Angels. We bought our second boat in Pensacola and it lived in the Destin area until Katrina ran us (literally) off up to Demopolis, Al. where it stayed until we sold it, as we just didn't have time for fishing it anymore. 😢 I love antiquing but we are 45 minutes from anything and i just don't like a long drive to another town. I know this is long, and i apologize, but i do hope you read it! Maybe our paths will cross at the beach, one day! Just discovered your channel and subscribed immediately! Love to you, Diane ❤

I agree with you those huge palettes are full of colours you never use and they are a pain to store!! I am tending not to use eyeshadows just two shades of bronzer and two shades of blush and a highlighter - that’s it !!

I love Bare Minerals but really loved the loose products when Lesley owned the company. They still have a few but have become like everyone else with pressed and liquid products. I preferred the choices and their loose eye shadow. Now the colors are so limited and they have gotten rid of so many that I always used. That has made me have to go to other brands and guess what, I hardly use them anymore. I’m sure I’m not the only one. Bring back the old products, Bare Minerals. Maybeline products never have color payoff for me. I love the look for the colors on that palette but hesitate to spend money on it. Your hesitation tells me no. I think you are experiencing what I do with Maybeline. You are beautiful and I love your channel.

I think you look gorgeous and natural. I wish someone would present a video on the eyes and brows to open the eye area without fillers. I have hooded eyes and had blepharoplasty a year ago and it really didn’t give the results I had hoped for. I am 75.

Years ago I discovered a great eyeliner by Avon. It is called glimmersticks and I use dark grey. It goes on the water line so well and stays all day. I have sensitive eyes and it does not bother me. It is very reasonably priced...under $10

I love that most of the products that are the ones you wear everyday aren’t expensive! I have a lot of makeup because I I was influenced by people I watch, but that is no more! You are absolutely right about the large pallets as there are to many colors to chose from and there are only certain colors that are used. I also use an eyelash growth every night and it does help my lashes and it is very expensive but if it’s the only large expense I am worth it!

Hi Patty, I came across Éclat 5ml eyelash growth serum for only £6.99, it had good reviews so I decided to try it and have been using it for 2 months. My lashes and brows have grown and look great. I wanted to order more a couple of days ago but it was sold out, so I looked on the internet and a Beauty Outlet had it on special offer at £3, so I ordered 7!! They arrived this morning and will keep me going for a very, very long time. One Revitalash container, costs £100 more than my 7 containers of Éclat and it works!!

I just found your channel and this is the second video I am going to be watching. I've been trying to be more positive of myself and my appearance, I did that really popular filter that makes you look older and is apparently accurate. That filter makes me look like my grandma who died a few years ago and now when im mean to myself I stop and think and correct myself. I love the Essence Princess mascaras. Yes!!! I have mobility problems and I get a little shakey at 63 years old, because of some health issues. I’m going to try bending the wand. Hi beautiful Patti! You look absolutely radiant as always! You look natural, and much younger than your years. I love how you applied everything, but especially your foundation and concealer. Concealer was the very first makeup product i purchased when I was a tween, (the Maybelline lipstick tube style). I am forever on the look out for something that covers the darkness and now puffiness under my eyes that doesn’t accentuate the wrinkles and find that sometimes the last bit of foundation on my sponge or brush is enough. Just came upon you yesterday. You have already helped me to correct something I have been noticing recently. Under eye concealer. Who knew!! I was thinking that lack of 'under eye bags' was the focus. BUT...turns out that sunken eyes are JUST as bad!! Dug out some of my concealers today and used them. What a difference!! I have been using the color stay lip duo for years as well as my lips have lost pigment in some spots and this stays on all day - I love it!

I while back I suggested you try MAC Prunella eye pencil for your waterline…now you, my favorite influencer has inspired me to try the Nikol plum. I also ordered Navy. Because I have blue eyes it makes them stand out and enhance the color while giving me the darkness I need in my lash line…

After using makeup for many years we usually have tried dozens of different brands. But every now and then we come across one particular item and stick with it. That's how I am with the ELF brow pencil. I never consider trying anything else as I don't think anything wouod better My other favourite and has-been fo so many years is the Max Factor 2000 mascara. I have tried so many , still do sometimes but always go back to that one. Never tried setting spray as I am still not sure what is its use. I was waiting for your lipstick choice and could have bet on it. Thanks so much Patti. As usual I really enjoyed this and don't ever consider winding down cos we need you.

Thank you for your EXCELLENT LISTING of the products you utilize. Blessings.... Glad you are trying the WARMER TONES. The Warmer gives you a Healthy Glow. I think...I see other seniors who post on their channels...many use foundation colors that are too light...making them appear "Shallow ", even anemic. The warmer the shade the less sick or stressed they appear. This is just an observation, I have no qualifications.
