I’m a identical twin girl and my twin had identical girls who are the spitting image of us when we were their age. It is a true blessing to have a best friend growing up. Nicole your beautiful tribute to your own mother left me in tears and took me back 40 years, when i fell in love with my own dear mother after birthing my first child, a daughter. Thats when it really hit me how much my mother loved me. I was in complete awe of her. And so very grateful she came to help me when i needed her most. Her love moved mountains. Still does even though shes been gone 20 years. I still go to her when i need her guuidence, her love, her strength. Blessings to you and all your generations of love. Congratulations! I’m also an identical twin. We have 9 sets of twins in our family. All identical except 1 set which is 1 boy 1girl. Sadly the girl died during COVID.( they were adults) I had 5 sons 4 home births same midwife no drugs. That same midwife has delivered all my grandchildren and my nieces kids. My boys went to school with my midwife’s children and grew up together, small private Christian school. Each one of my sons was a surprise because I chose not to find out. Totally surprised each time because I thought sometimes it might be a girl. I really enjoyed your video. You look like a happy healthy wholesome family. In 1975 I had a beautiful, safe home birth and bore my lovely, healthy daughter with no drugs. Renowned, courageous and skilled Dr. Ettinghausen was there at the birth along with a midwife (Ettinghausen bucked years of negative attempts to stop him delivering in the home, attacks that came from the medical establishment. He was a real doctor, and I had a very quiet, loving birth experience --- in actual fact, for thousands of years, home birth has been the usual way. I also want to say that I love each of you individually and as a family! Thank you for being so inspiring and for sharing your life with us --- I know it's not easy to do, but you make a difference in the world! (I am a composer and painter who creates art to soothe and invigorate others, but I'm not going to sully this loving message by self promotion. Just wanted you to know I've grown to love you all!

The level of shock on your face is amazing! The first two weeks with our child we would just look at the baby with the same look of shock and amazement that we did/made this... I have fraternal twin boys. We found out about 6 months in. They are 54 now. The second baby watches over his old brother (4 minutes older) all of his life. They have a special bond for sure. I shed tears when you talked about your mom, Nicole. My mom was at my home birth 6 months ago and stayed with us for 2 weeks after here abroad in Bolivia and she was an angel. She’s my best friend. The cycle with be full the day you get to support your girls when they have families ❤

I am an identical twin- my sister and I were 2 minutes apart. We were born 3 weeks early weighing 5 lbs. each. You can easily see the difference between us. That was back in 1963 and we were even written up in the newspaper. Enjoy -its going to be fun watching them grow up!

My mom went to the hospital and they told her she wasn’t in labor. 5 minutes after that a little foot popped out! She had them 5 minutes apart on the gurney! 13 months later my mom gave birth to my sister. I was a very busy big sister! It’s going to be so fun watching you all grow! Love you all so much!

Did same as you, refused drugs and took her home early the next morning. 2.5 years later the second baby was born at home! The difference is amazing! Well done!!!

This brings back memories for me. My twins are 42yrs. old. They were born 7wks. early and were 5lbs. each. I did breast feed them at the same time like you said. It is the only way. I exclusively breast fed them for 4months. Totally breastfeed them for a year. Keep up the good work.

Dad saying it’s typical for twins to come early so you didn’t actually have them early, you just had healthy twins is so encouraging and sweet of him. I think often especially in a hospital setting twins automatically mean emergency and it’s just not always like that. It’s refreshing. Mommy is a very strong woman.
