Lol planning on adding one on my own. The corrugated polycarbonate is cheap enough.

It ships in the front compartment. I would just slide it under the bed for transit and leave it on top of the bed during the day out of the way

That other ladder appears when you add the Pro Rac roof mounting system to this one (which is just the base mounting rails). The beefier ladder goes with it. It's rated for a little more weight, but I can say I've been up and down HUNDREDS of these w/o issue (even now when I'm carrying some extra "pandemic poundage" lol)

There’s not enough tank capacity, space in the bathroom, or cargo carrying capacity to support a washer/dryer in a TT this small.

Pound for pound... Rockwood is always tough to beat

If I had to guess why they don’t it’s because you can option a full oven with stove top into these so that space is reserved effectively

Not from the factory. It is likely possible aftermarket They're now offering a more advanced solar package with a 3k inverter that can run the microwave or even the A/C but it doesn't physically fit into this layout

Someone else said something similar. But consider... * Do you tend to FLING a medicine cabinet door open at home? Likely not. * A towel on that rack would also serve as a cushion I don't disagree that its positioning LOOKS stupid But with the sheer volume of this specific RV on the road today for a few years now that issue would've already presented itself if it were in fact a practical problem vs. only theoretical

Shower/Tub pans are tricky in travel trailers as RVIA plumbing code requires that space below them. Otherwise the floor would literally have to be cut out to recess anything further. That's why FWs can do it and trailers can't -- FWs have room to recessed shower flooring Trailers just don't for code reasons

Haven't seen many off grid fw in the lower price spectrum that have what the geo pro does. Maybe in 5 years the options will increase. Thanks for your reply and I enjoy your videos. I wouldn't personally tow any travel trailer without load leveling / anti-sway hitching if I were driving a 4Runner

I’m a little torn on this. Being able to run the microwave off the inverter would be great. On the other hand, bigger inverters have a bigger power draw overhead, so everything else would run through batteries faster. Replacing the converter with the model that supports flipping between AGM and LiFePO4 is definitely needed though - that part already exists, so use it.

Last I knew even Cherokee RVs at a FAR lower price point were using lithium-capable converters. I'd have to take a closer look

@@TonyYarusso Bigger converters need larger panels on the roof along with larger battery storage. Li's are the best for large inverters. It's all a balance act.

Perhaps for extended use, but with a slide the RV is most certainly not built with the idea of using those function for extended periods with a slide retracted.

By the way one can access the solar controller via Bluetooth with free app on phone, even with the slide in.

Geo Pro doesn't make models with double bunks at this time. Things like this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HXIF2OgGrzQ.html are as close as it gets The good news is Jayco's Jay Feather Micro series WILL be making a double/double bunk model called the 199MBS (floor plan here: bit.ly/35UzjpE along with similar layouts from Wildwood AND Catalina), but that model is BRAND NEW and has literally yet to be built at the time of this reply.

For me it’s the FBS all day. Feels much larger. I have seen little kitchen slides like the FDS and they don’t add any significant living space But the camp side window is great in that fds

There's no singular answer to this. We need to know what you plan to do with the camper, how long, how often, etc as equipment needed for off-grid camping can vary WILDLY by individual To the tune of multiple thousands of dollars of difference.

Rockwood doesn't offer optional murphy beds for a few years now. Each model is built with specific bedding configurations.

Yes , there is a 19 fd and now a 19 fds which has a slide out ,( the kitchen section) these are murphy bed 20' trailers both e pro and geo pro.

It's a fair question, but I'll offer another in return -- how often do you personally *fling* your medicine cabinet doors w/o holding onto them/ Even if you did -- you'll likely have a towel there acting as a buffer most of the time I agree it's a theoretic glitch. I noticed it myself. But I don't believe it's a practical one. Given the INCREDIBLE popularity of this series and this model specifically I feel strongly that issue woul've reared its ugly head by now.

@@JoshtheRVNerd You are probably right Josh, you see way more of these things than I probably ever will. But knowing my own ability to break stuff, I would likely move the towel holder, or flip the door if I could. For me, it wouldnt be if I broke the mirror, but when.

I think one of those wall stops that keep the door knob from damaging the wall would work on the towel holder on the bathroom. Or, maybe one of the little pads you put on chair legs to protect the floor.

We put orders for them as soon as the model was announced. It's just taking a very long time for them to arrive. We record everything that comes thru, so be sure to sub up (if you haven't) so you can catch it once one rolls in!

Yeah that’ll work on any RV if the Gen is of a sufficient size

Not all solar is the same. Only the SUPER Solar system from Montana can run those bigger appliances. Even the "Solar Flex" system which is a 300w panel + inverter doesn't run the A/C system That's the problem with solar. It's anything BUT "one size fits all." It's 100% "What size fits you?" The kind of solar required to run A/C units and microwaves requires potentially over $10,000 and adds a LOT of weight to the RV (Potentially 100's of extra pounds).

*perhaps* It's paneled off and it's not like rockwood to just "waste space" I'd have to believe there's *something* in there preventing its use, but cannot say with 100% certainty just by glancing

Oh sure. You need to duck your head to reach the shower head. Most people don't tend to stand straight up/down when showering in their homes. Also.. it's a 20ft total length travel trailers. It's not unreasonable to make a few minor sacrifices vs. the conveniences of a home. And if that's not something you're OK with -- no sweat! We have plenty of other RVs to consider among our lineup :)

I’ve seen mods with 3m hooks and sticking the head up in the skylite well. Not perfect solution, but a good solution.

If the Feather Micro 166FBS from that video hadn't already sold, then I would've done EXACTLY the video you just mentioned. The specific feather micro from that video sold literally ONE HOUR after the video went live, though. As a rule I don't tend to go tromping thru someone else's property in my work boots naturally. We have a little more respect for our clients than that :) Geo Solar IS Standard Feather Solar is OPTIONAL You are correct there Regarding weight... Rockwood's specs don't quite seem to reflect their new standards in terms of UVW. The only option added to the camper in this video is the 12v tank heating pads which weigh nearly nothing. So the two campers weigh ABOUT 800lbs different assuming roughly the same equipment. So the extra weight on the Jay Feather comes from: * Bigger Chassis which allows them to * Enclose the holding tanks (Geo has an "open" underbelly) * Bigger holding tanks (specifically the fresh tank) * A little wider body * 5" Taller side walls * a *lot* more cabinet storage added (which weighs a *lot* * Heavier roof construction (though Geo is still walkable -- feather is tested to hold more weight) * Bigger Fridge That stuff adds up quickly. It's why you don't see very many small campers with good cold packages -- the things you need to do to accomplish that weigh HUNDREDS of pounds that little campers can't usually afford to carry As mentioned in some of our other videos Geo Pro has A LOT of its own "superior/standout" qualities as well. I'm not personally in favor of one vs the other by any means. I'm *very* glad we have both offerings here.

Not from the factory, but a million aftermarket items. A simple "butcher's block" style would likely work Insert a few rubber feet to "slot" it into the sink and you got a winner

You'd be surprised sometimes how documents can be delayed either from the MFG or thru the office. Every team member here wears a lot of hats I can tell you these usually go around 24 without fees like we do here at Haylett's the way you see them here I know people want to see prices. We were one of the first dealers you'll find that publish pricing clearly. I do everything I can as soon as I can. I could sit on footage and NOT publish stuff for a week+ at a time... but what good does that do?

@@GOGpaintballplayer You may have missed or not realized the fridge shown in this video is a 12v compressor driven fridge. Rockwood has no allowances from the factory level for other refrigerators. We've never had a customer approach us asking for that kind of modification so I do not have any answer for you

No battery included from the factory. We include a common 12v flooded type at no extra charge above our pricing and have a shop full of all sorts of options

I see more and more RV dealer video channels coming out of the woodwork this past year or two. Some have been virtually blatant ripoffs of the format I've found on our Haylett content. I feel the same way about the fist-pump-fake-enthusiasm stuff I see out there. I know it gets a lot of views. But I don't care. I just can't be that guy. I really am who you see/hear on the video in my personal life and loathe the idea of becoming a clown for the sake of a few extra subs. I try to give fair information based on my years of use and experience & let you folks decide if we're worth visiting. Considering we struggle to answer the phone quickly enough in the summer due to call volume and our inventory was completely wiped out this year I'd say we're doing something right.

Geo and E-Pros are literally identically. I'll double check next time I'm around one. That's potentially something that's been changed silently It's also possible the ladder itself has a 250lb potential, but it was tested only to 200lbs.
