Good day everyone!
In this episode we are finally finished with outside frame for the insulation. We used 5x10cm thick timbers. The winter has finally came and I will try doing inside work. First we need roof insulation and some sort of heating element... maybe that will be our next video...

You understand that insulation insulation insulation is the #1 priority for having a room temp. comfortable house. Small diameter log cabins are a challenge to keep warm in winter and cool in peak summer. Nice work on the exterior walls.

Glad you secured the ladder for your safety. As your building I am trying to figure out why your doing what your doing. But as each video goes on It is becoming apparent to me and it is interesting. Your skills are really good and do enjoy all your videos. Take care and will see you next time.

I am guessing that you will be insulating the outside of the wall so you can still see the lovely logs on the inside?

Yes, thats the plan some of thrm will bw covered on the insife such as kitchen and bathroom. But still will try to save as much as I can! 😁

Did cutting the ends of the wall logs off not weaken the walls.

Yes they should have weakened them, but i tried to tie them up with the vertican 2x4. It should hold just fine 😁

Previous owned used old engine oil... to treat it... and ots now imposible to remove... but i will put insulation on top so it will cover it... 😁
