The biggest problem with building with pallet wood is that it is not uniformly dimensioned. Second biggest problem is it tends to be either knotty or twisty grain that warps real bad. I have disassembled many pallets in my life and managed to salvage very little usable lumber. Mostly it gets burned.
@@WoolysWorld You can still find them reasonably priced. A good few years ago, I bought a 602 for £100 from the local reclaim that had a snapped off leg, spent £40 on the repair. Last year I picked up a brand new Waterford, I got it from a closed down showroom and paid £300 for it (a one off), it's got all of the new regs but it's not quite as good as the Jotul, although almost identical... Start hunting
