I have been following Jacob and Natalie's off-grid story from the beginning. I think their children will benefit the most from this experience. These kids are learning so many skills they will be able to use whatever the future holds. They are learning self reliance, work ethic and real world skills that will carry through into their adult lives.
I've been following RU-vid's "A Boulder Life Off Grid" for a long time. When they purchased the Mill, and began making their own lumber from trees blown down in the forest I was amazed. Reducing fire danger in the woods by clearing downed trees, saving huge sums of money by not purchasing store-bought lumber, and even making special siding for their shed. What's not to love. We watched them set up the Mill and began using it and saw how quickly they became proficient at milling lumber. I would love to be able to do this myself someday. 👍🙂

I know I brag all the time about the work you guys do but that’s because you take such pride in everything you do. I see the kids taking part in a lot of the activities and they are enjoying themselves and learning so much more than other kids. I have so much pride in watching you all as if you were my own family which surprises me. How wonderful of woodland mills to make this video.

Great video :) I did a lot of building before I discovered & purchased my Woodland mill in April 2023 ! Now I can finish what I started 10 years ago " The mill has been a great addition to my homestead :)
Love this! Really interesting look behind the curtain of an ever-increasing style of living. So much respect for those walking the walk of sustainability and self-reliance.
I'm proud of y'all. It's a dream I've been thinking about doing some things on my little wooded 20 acre place that's hopefully not so close to the city limits that they manage to annex us in so the damn city politicians can increase their tax base. They've been trying to do it for several years & we in the county keep out voting the city people. You're gonna think something's wrong with me but I sold a 74 acre farm that was so far out that with my & my wife's health going downhill I was afraid of something happened we needed to be close to all of the services so I sold the farm & moved here & since the plandemic was sprung upon us I'm kinda wondering if I should have not sold the farm. Oh well. Water under the bridge & I'm not looking back. My last job was hauling 9,000 gallons of propane to our distribution centers. I believe in propane.
