Top Ride! Well done!and a very good clip to see hat these balkan TET raly is. Hard work ... Dangerous and not to drive alone !! We ( my wife and myself) made the Croatia ( new TET and more) the Bosnia and the Montenegro TET last year in September but from the otherside as you do. The Montenegro Parts are realy hard soooo steep and rocky from all sides. But the Landscape is so stunning beautyful , every inch you drive is is worth to do the hard work on the bike! We want to go to albania to but the weather conditions changed from good with some rain to Storm hail and heavy rain for days, so we cancel the Albania TET and more backcountry things we have plant and goes by ferry to south italy ! and drive Italy from south to north. Thanks for sharing your adventure!
Thanks for the comment. Yes its really an adventure, so beautiful and challenging at the same time. After weeks with 6-10h rides you really have to dig deep:) The ongoing thunderstorms made it very slippery and they seem to always appear at the worst possible timing....😁
@@boardswheels We have all these things to , massiv Rain in croatia and bosnia. Montenegro it was a bit better but therefore the track was so much harder to drive.
@@boardswheels i did some on beta 390rr and super light luggage and it was still at a point that I was praying to ride 100 meters of grass. stones, rocks stones, and .........stones !
Feks via instagram. Profilen heter arkiv9
Glad you liked the video:) Challenges and great rewards for sure..TET GPX do not flag hard parts. However, I can give some info if you text me on insta @arkiv9
Hi, We will ride the TET Blakan in June 2024. I would like to know if the part into the river is the one which has an alternative way in TET tracks ? Thanks because we want to avoid this difficulty with our heavy bikes . Thanks for your reply
Yes, if you go from the south, the right side would be easier. The left side has multiple crossings over the river for about 30km. There is a path to the right if you don't want to do the full 30km. I'm not sure which bikes you have and skill, but there are few sections more challenging than the river crossing in Albania and Montenegro but with amazing scenery after the climbs😊
Thanks a lot for your reply and information. We have heavy bikes (Tuareg 660, Tennere 700 and Transalp) and we don’t want to ride Enduro tracks. We have quiet good knowledge of OffRoad riding but we don’t want to take any risk. Thanks a lot
Hi, very nice ride which I will do in Mai this year, too. Which nav system did you use and would you recommend it or is it enough to use your phone for navigation? Thanks and best regards
Thanks. It was amazing. I use a Samsung Active Pro with the DMD2 app. I also have the carpe iter remote controller for pan and zoom and it saves me some stopping time. The holder is 3D printed. Phone would be ok (preferably one with 6.5" or more. We had quite a lot of rain so I would suggest to find a waterproof solution. I have lost my navigation due to moist in a remote areas in Northern Sweden an it was not cool. A second phone is a good idea. I bring a small silicone tube in case cable connection starts taking in water. DMD2 is very good for navigation but I use the Osmand for finding gas, bed, stores etc. and to see elevation and distance. I sometimes also use gurumaps for measuring distance quickly as they have nice feature for that purpose.
@dreamroads3159 We were quite excited due to uncertainty on snow levels, but we just managed. If we had gone one week earlier, we would certainly have to make a few u-turns
