excellent training to get a feeling for the possibilities of the GL - I did a security training in Germany w/ my E-Class - already paid off - if you are interested in buying this full-size SUV I would recommend driver training. And then you fell even more save in this castle ;)
It was incredible. It is the proving ground at the factory in Vance Alabama. I don't know if they ever allow owners to take their vehicles there. You would need to have the off road package on your GL. I will find out if you can go there and let you know.

Gunnar Moeller Every SUV/4x4 manufacturer does exactly the same - Land Rover, Toyota, Audi. You are correct, taking a car on a ‘natural’ course could test the vehicle more. However these course are designed to show the limits of the vehicle to the customer - Inclines, descents, break angles, limits of roll, articulation. If you know the limits of the vehicle, you are much less likely to get into trouble when (and if) your go off road.
