I'd still love to see different off road AT/mud tire tests even if boring or impossible testing results due to so many variables. How about how much abuse could an all season handle and how much aggressive tread pattern do you really need? Even warn that this very well could be boring but you can decide for your self. I'd love to hear how a P rated tire vs XL vs E do with puncture resistance. I'm having a hard time deciding tires for my 2024 Nissan Frontier 4x4 now. I'm out in Arizona. So lots of street driving but I do come across hard pack 2 track with rocks, cactus, sand and even monsoon season storms. I don't care for the E range stiff ride though. Anyways, those are my quick 2 cent ideas. Thanks guys! 🙏

Kuhmo AT52 tires have become my go to AT tire. They are highway efficient and off-road good. If your looking for the best all around AT tire I can't recommend them enough.

I see KO2 tires on many trucks in Canada but I prefer the look and performance of the Toyo Open Country A/T II & A/T III tires. I thought it was interesting and amusing that the tire compounds in Toyo winter tires have Microbit Technology with crushed walnut shells embedded in the tire tread compound to dig and bite into the ice surface for improved traction.

The funny thing about that they actually licensed that technology from treadwright tires. They've been using it on their retreaded tires for about a decade or so now.

Pure Ice. I used to think nothing (except studs) would help you. Then I got a set of Bridgestone Blizzaks. And while they didn't perform miracles I was surprised that they DID give some degree of ice traction without studs. So, unless you are willing to put up with studded tires for your ice needs, try some Blizzaks.
