Hee-Seop Choi!! I grew up a Cubs fan, and his MLB story basically came to an end when he collided with Kerry Wood between the mound and 1B at Wrigley Field when the Yankees were in town. I remember seeing the moment on the TV when he fell backwards and hit his head on the ground without breaking his fall at all. As a 6'4" man, coming from a point where you're trying to field a pop fly, full extension, to completely losing your balance and being unable to stop your momentum... he was never the same after that moment. He may have been used to being the tallest guy on the field, coming from Korea and being 6'4". But Kerry Wood is 6'5", so that was the most unfortunate collision I've ever seen. Visceral, gut-wrenching stuff. So I hope Hee-Seop can be a factor in your Reds dynasty!!!! Keep up the good work!!

for the draft, BPA is always the right decision, don't focus on spots of need and always go for the best overall player on the board in terms of talent and potential. Also with signing as you seem to have noticed, lot of times you can go up to 3 years if they want too, but if you want to go to 4 or 5 then you definitely have to start upping the money too.

You have to make sure your bench players are AAA on their contract otherwise they get mad, Same goes for the relievers put them all in middle relief otherwise they dont play enough ans get mad

Still think you need to get Arroyo into the rotation. In a good rotation he's a solid 4 or 5 to eat them innings.

You missed out on a ton of guys that can help the Reds win in simulation in year 2 or maybe in year 3. Only saying because I've used these guys on every team I've used in Owner Mode and they're x-factors, imo. You passed on pitchers like Rob Bell, Victor Zambrano, Brazelton, etc. Don't let them ERA's fool ya, especially Zambrano, he's Really good and basically all his pitching stats are in the 80's which is great. Same with Rob Bell too. Also, you need pinch hitters from the bench, Eric Byrnes turns into Barry Bonds vs LHP 😂, i believe his contact/power vs Lefties is 80+ & 90+. Craig Monroe contact/power vs RHP is 80+, another guy that can pinch hit and get you 10+ HRs... you also passed up on Kevin Mench. He's a powerhouse vs LHP. David Newhan is good vs LHP too....just saying

Check free agents before you start spring training to see if there's any deals out there, and do the same after spring training before the regular season. Could have some hidden gems in there that fell through the cracks or didn't come to terms during free agency. If I remember right progression hits after spring training, and regression starts hitting at age 30.

Why didn't you try for Matt Holiday? He looked like the best player on the board, 23 y/o, played OF and 1B and you could have built your team around him. Could have fit Bako in there somewhere while he improves. I think you should have definitely kept Valentine for $900k - you paid way more than that for minor league pitchers who are worse. Unless you have some pitchers skyrocket during spring training your pitchers look really weak and you only have like 7 of them on your major league Reds. Weber on a 4 year contact might have been ok because he'd probably retire before the end of it (but he might also regress in spring training though). Also try not to offer so many pitchers the role of ace. Idk for sure but I did a fantasy draft on this game once where I tried building it around pitchers and had Grienke, Beckett, Sabathia and another guy who were all aces and none of them seemed to play very well or be happy. It might have just been a coincidence though.
