ian is the damon. hes what made the first episode worth watching...and the whole season really built up and improved with each episode. the vampire diaries show is amazing and i love that its so unpredicatable...with shows like 90210 i always predict whats going to happen, whos going to hook up...but with this show it always surprises me...long live TVD

I love love Ian, the 1st episode of Vampire Diaries made me not want to keep watching that is untill Ian showed up and I was like ha yay I'll keep with it, glad I did too the show got so good! xD thank you Ian for that, my new favorite show

ginaloveian I feel like Stefan is more like Edward than damon is. Tortured. Damon is too much fun. He has his demons too but he's not like Edward at all. Season one Stefan is actually quite a bit like Edward and I've actually never even thought about that before now.

I think he’s just matured more. He’s in his 40s with a wife, kid and a lot going on. I think he’s gotten more focused on the things he’s passionate about as he got older.

Hands down, the best news headline I have ever seen in my life was: "Naked actor in bongo drum drama." It was about Matthew McConnaughey who was smoking weed in his home, playing the bongos in the middle of the night. It was loud so his neighbours called the cops. They arrived to find him stark bollock nekkid. Yee Ha. Gotta love people from Texas.
