Why 2.8 and not 3.000? I'm starting to build a cottage at home that I'm going to move down the coast when I'm finished. I was going to make it 2.9 because I thought that gave me .100mm safety margin. Am I correct that a truck can take 3.000 with a permit? Thanks in advance. Tony
Because at 3meters you need special permits that have time of day restrictions and escort vehicles with all the safety signs ect to move them ... AT 2.8 it is just a low cost std temp tow permit and tow away for up to 7 days :- ) So 2.8 mate is just plain simpler ...
