Actually Alex still might be taller than Jon, by like a half an inch, at least that's what it looks like when they are both standing straight. I really think they are both rather 6'4.
Gustafsson is a little taller, he's 196cm(6'5) and jones is 193cm(6'4). If you muricans could use the real measurement-system he wouldn't have got it wrong..
Gus seems to have his own measurement system. He says he is 6'3'' yet at the start of his ufc fight videos it says 6'5''. He also says he has an 81.2 inch reach yet on those same stats screen at the start of the video it says he has a 77 inch reach.
they're both brilliant fighters, i'm sure the will become great friends, i seen the photos after the fight, both smiling. well done to both fighters for an amazing fight.

JDS cant be 6'4", watch this video /watch?v=34k2qKQWfik and go to 4:04 where you can see JDS and Gus side by side, Gus is 6'4" and looks atleast an inch taller than him. JDS is 6'3" or even 6'2"
Alexander Gustafsson is not 6'5. When stood next to Jones he was the same height. Also Overreem was not 6'5 he is 6'4 because I meet him and I'm 6'2. They hype up fighters in the ring.

No JDS is 6'4'' since Shogun is 6'1'' and go look at JDS and Shogun sparr where they obviously have bare feet. JDS looks 3 inch taller easily. And Gus is 6'5'' so that explains why he is taller than JDS and of course they all had shoes on, All those shoes have different height bases under them.
The only thing we can hope for in this matchup is that Gustafsson doesn't get too injured! Jones is quicker, stronger, longer reach and a better knockout ability and grappling skills.
Jon is gonna win. Alex is an excellent fighter, but Jon is the best light-heavy weight to ever step in the cage. He's also now pound for pound #1 fighter

dont kno why everyones making such a big deal of the height...its more about the reach...Jones has the reach of a 7 foot tall man, while Gustafsson has the same reach as GSP and Gustafssons only advantage over Jones is his hand speed and boxing so i thnk he's fucked seeing how he wont be able to use it. I know 76 inch reach is really good for a guy GSP's height but his and Gustafsson's reach is on the same as most of Jones past opponents and most 6''2 ish guys
