First! I feel you. A hard move means the time you spent has been meaningful. But who knows, you may see that toilet again one day, if it's meant to be. If I don't get as many more grip tips from this channel while you're kept busy working, maybe I'll see ya in LA! I'm an actor too, moving back to LA soon as things open up. Just had more need grip tips again while being self-sufficient recording myself at home.

Good luck man! I think everyone in LA has a podcast, and this is WAY better than those, so I'm hoping you do some grip-focused interviews and features when you're out there...

Draft Day's entire plot structure can not happen if Dave does not answer that phone.

You can be a struggling actor while paying the bills with grip/electric gigs, 100%. There's probably help groups for that specifically in LA ahaha It's not common but you can just...do it. If you can't do "grip tips", do "grip stories", cautionary tales, drug use, crazy anecdotes... but i think you could also re-do all your episodes and find a new public for it (feed our overlord, the algorithm). The Matthews guy helped me stay sane in early quarantine, great mentor, great energy...and i never worked as a grip (or intend to, i think). Before march 2020, i worked on a mocap set as a cam op (videogame company) where some of the things i had learned on youtube channels like yours made me keep up and not get lost or look completely out of place on my first days. (every camera person should know c-stand etiquette) Sharing your experience in the industry might help some people more than you think, even the little things. Good luck with the move, this won't be easy but you got this. PS. first thing you should do while driving into LA is shout "we're back, we're back".
