Off-White Nike Air Force 1 Mid: Honest Review! 

Wore these for a week straight honestly one of the most comfortable Air Force 1’s I’ve put on…the material so thin on the base of the shoe that there is no break in period.. after the spikes wear down There is a ton of grip!! I’m a bigger guy and these where pretty comfy no lie! Spikes acted almost like springs! Also wear black sox it brings out the pattern in the toe more. I don’t think this a troll shoe this is really just and expression of art by an artist. RIP Virgil🕊….they sometimes don’t realise greatness till later.

I think once economy is back up these will be worth a lot. This is one of the last projects Virgil actually teased. But only time will tell

I actually like the spikes, I have noticed a lot of Japanese designers such as Yohji Yamamoto of Y-3 utilizing them as well. I know most Jordan heads prefer the more boring look but idk this kinda gives it a nice breath of fresh air in my opinion.

I got the black pair and i absolutely love them. Very comfortable, absolutely insane and different. They give me kind of a futuristic metal type vibe with the spikes. Thought when i wore them i would get made fun of but i got a lot of compliments.

I hit on the black pair on SNKRS and I absolutely love them. Like someone else said in the comments, I think this shoe separates Virgil's real fans from the hypebeasts.

I absolutely love these sneakers. Copped a pair relatively recently, and they're super comfortable. The exposed air unit is something I'm a big fan of. Replaced one set of the grey laces with purple rope laces just to give a bit more because I thought it could compliment the pinks and blues. The only issue I have with these sneakers is that as someone who drives a manual transmission car, driving is kinda weird but I think I'll get used to it.

Some rapper will wear them and they’ll gain hella hype. Plus it’s one of the last designs Virgil did, now Off-White is just corporate bs. The designs will be scrapped like a posthumous rappers record label, then the whole brand will change.

Well everything your saying is your opinion, im personally an Air Force one lover and these are unique as ever , only reseller are mad at these shoes , I love em 😎 and glad nobody like em 😂

I got the black pair on release and I liked them a lot better once I got them in hand. They aren’t an everyday pair, but definitely a pair that catches people’s eyes and gets a conversation started!

honestly they will go up when people realize they are an AF1 x Off collaboration and last Virgil design

I love these sneakers so much. I hit the white pair on SNKRS, ended up having to have the black pair as well. I love how weird and off the wall they are, and though people think they don't really fit it with Virgils other work, I think they fit in great. I think using a silhouette that no one likes was on purpose, and so was using the spikes. Every shoe OW did for Nike that had spikes on them, flopped, and people think Virgil didn't notice it? 🤔 the overlace, the rip-stop material, the floating swoosh, and of course, the spikes, are all call-backs, and perhaps the graffiti on the tongue is a call-forward to the LV Nike Mids. IDK man, a lot to like for me. my only complaint is that the overlace doesn't go over the toebox, but that's it, I love the artistic statement of these sneakers! respect.

Also I can totally respect the creativity on these from the sole to the fabric, and what really tops it off is the tongue graffiti.

Man this shoe is befor its time i couldnt possibly understand y anyone wouldnt think these are the coldest shoe ever made i love these shoes so much im a trucker so i havent seen them yet but there at the house both pair the hood gon love me when i put these bad boys on then double back in the blk ones

I got these below retail on eBay and they are awesome to wear and not like most off whites which sit in a box on a shelf going up in value. a crazy art sneaker which is wearable and useable

On his IG he states that this shoe is inspired by tv static. Kind of an interesting take…I personally prefer the black pair

The only thing I don’t like about it is the front multiple color spikes like if they removed them the shoe would be worth buying

I actually like them. They definitely grew on me. I got the white pair for retail from SNKRS. I think In a few years people will appreciate them and they’ll be expensive. I’m grabbing the black pair too while they’re affordable.

These are definitely going up in time. Not anytime soon but 4-7 years it is going to triple in price. Too futuristic for todays fashion...

I love these! And I can’t wait to get a white pair of these. Sure there not for everyone but that’s what makes them special. I believe in a few years these are going to have a great value. Because of the history of the designer.

This shoe separates Virgil’s real fans from the hype beast that just were there for a fad . This is literally the representation of all of Virgil’s work .

I waited a year to finally track these down. They are amazingly comfortable like hummers on your feet. Also they make a great fashion statement. I’m only in my 3rd day. I’ll be purchasing the white colour way for sure. I have the black so far.

It's crazy , I bought the black pair , I posted it on my IG , people really like them 😳 I love my pair but I like shoes that make people second glance and open covo! But every day I get a comment or a dm about them 😁 cult classic lol

Hello great review, i got both the black and the white pair and I unDs the black mid’s. I wore them for about 8 hour’s and the spikes never bother me and also the mid’s feel good on feet. P.S. love them. Have a good ☝️

Honestly I don't really think u know Virgil if u said this shoes is a messed n don't represent him, he used to put spikes on sneakers, from stockx I see people buying this everyday

Hit for the white and was considering bringing them back.. glad I didn’t I realized for me these look better with cargo pants or some clean chinos, they are summer colors but the look is more fall

I’m thinking of getting a pair to golf in. Regular golf shoes seem to grip too much for me and my swing. These look like they may be perfect for it. Plus, I’m a part of a rare percentage that loves the way they look, even more than original Air Force ones.

If you put your hand in front of the colorful outsole it's a decent shoe. My tip: remove the spikes from the sole with a dremel and use some rubber paint to make the sole acceptable.

So the weird aspects were the negatives. The black pair is much easier to turn “normal” You can take scissors to all the spikes, you’re left with a waffle pattern and you take the white over lace (on the black pair) out and it’s so much more “normal”. Definitely more wearable!

I feel Off-White is just trolling people with this shoe just to see if anyone would buy em. The spikes are there to intentionally devalue them for anyone who wears these shoes.

I copped on stockx and honestly love them more then my volt lows. I like being different so selling a few pairs of jays and doubling up on both color ways. Plus this is one time the af1 mid hot love. Have my sheed highs and lows with a few other different lows and cool to have a dope different mid.

These shoes are dope! I may never wear mine but they are a work of art.. However, I did remove the over laces and put the lace lock on the middle of the shoes in the laces.. switched the hangtag around as well.

If there was a way to soleswap this while keeping the window and the wiggly details of the midsole, these would be 🔥

i actually really like these. im afraid to buy them because those spikes at the bottom seem like they will be really uncomfortable and weird to wear

last shoe Vergil designed and the story behind this concept is that it was the last BRICK in the Nike line that made Nike who they are look it up the story is out of this world SIP Vergil

I definitely didn't want the white pair due to the see through top. But the black pair is OK. Black and pink also simply looks better than white and pink.

The black and white version look so different even though they're just the same elements with different colors

I was excited to finally get a pair of off whites, when I received them I returned them the same day. Too bulky, not comfortable and looked to crazy for a grown ass man. Maybe some kids can make em work....not for me.

Always appreciate any Hes review. Personally, for me, this is a pass and I find these unwearable. I’m sure lots of folks will chase these, but it’s not for me. I hope there are some more OW pieces in the vault that better serve Virgil’s incredible legacy.

I don't think this shoe was slated for release until Virgil passed... the box says it all AF1 mids are "bricks" they took ideas from the team and re-marketed the AF1 Mid like the AJ2.
