11:02 Jimmy is so good at putting down hecklers that he's started to have it part of his gig. Last time I was on one of his gigs he literally told the audience to heckle him just so he could take us down. It was great.
I love how will talks about how all his friends practiced to deal with hecklers during his live show but never said he himself did it, and is now telling them how to be more affective. Give poor stephen a break 😭
@@massivemuscleman3414 I knew I spelt something wrong but my cursed device makes it impossible to edit comments to fix it even if I know it. And I don’t want load up my pc bro that’s a whole min away from sitting down doing nothing I have a busy schedule ok 😭
I won't disagree, but I will put up Sam morril against him. You can tell how good they can handle a heckler by their crowd work and they are both soooo good at it.
My church had a comedian come for a volunteer appreciation event and he kept commenting on how twisted of an audience we were and how we should be the comedians because the audience was making so many jokes. It was a really fun night with a lot of back and forth!
Same with the guy at 4:10, he ends with "hang on, hang on, hang on. Because we're recording I'm going to pretend like I said the book spoilers thing and then edit it together, everyone ready?"🤣
I think the reason a lot of people heckle Jimmy Carr is because it would be hilarious to have Jimmy insult you when you know it’s not serious. I’d be honoured if he’d do it to me
I was recently at a Russell Howard show in Bournemouth and the heckles were hilarious. He was cracking up on stage and we were all dying. He told us that we made the show even better and that it was probably the best show he’s ever done
Still remember the Manchester show of TWOTI and this one kid was constantly shouting nonce at Steven and ruining the show so Steven straight up shut him up by pretty much calling him a twat. Was nice to actually start enjoying the show after that
It's crazy to think that there are so many people who actually have the idea they can outwitt a person who's profession relies purely on witt observation and general word skills.
Hey all, so alot of the Aussie kids see it as a bit of an honour being shut down by the Aussie comedians. I had a mate who went to see Rodney Rude, an Aussie comedian, and he was stoked that he got roasted by him during a show. It's an Aussie thing, we like to laugh at ourselves. That's why most, not all, of the blokes in the aus clips are young and having a laugh.
No heckler wins with Jimmy Carr, the man is bullet proof when it comes to hecklers. I have seen him many times destroy people on stage and he is just brilliant.
Hi, you missed the part where Jimmy Carr also says, do you normally stop people in the street and say on with your day, carry on. After he says ironically slowing things down. That was funny too.
I think the guy who said "Is it dry?" was more like an outside thought and said it too loud not actually trying to heckle. It seemed like he felt bad immediately after.
