assuming you have RW and LW playing their proper wings, switching them puts the shooter on his/her forehand for the shot

It's not a drill, it's a faceoff play... This specific setup mainly involves the forwards, although the D need to be ready as an outlet if the play doesn't happen as drawn up. If you wanna use a different setup that involves the D more, go for it!
