Without a doubt, Heng Long has improved tremendously. Really loved the T-90, though I was hoping that they wold use the leopard 2 sound instead of the tiger sound.
Hi Kok, We have upgrade T-90 with dual sound system. Tiger and Leopard is switchable with the touch of a button. We also have change the speaker resulting in better sound.

For a ready-to-run T-90 radio control model, it is very impressive looking. Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of the T-90 but I wouldn't mind having that one in my collection. I still have to get the Abrams and the Leopard II first, but I think I'll get this T-90 before I buy the Sherman tank.
With sufficiently good detailing, this tank model, like the T72 model, should be on the shelf at home as a bench model, since its driving performance is rather low. I have this model, and before writing my opinion, I exploited it for a long time (of course, I repaired it more). Firstly, the lower part of the hull is very weak - the attachment points for the track tension rollers; secondly, the attachment points of the gearboxes (gearboxes) are also weak and if a solid object gets under the drive gear or the track roller, it can cause the tension roller to break along with part of the lower housing or the gearmotor (gearbox) to tear out; Thirdly, the internal space of the tank (if equipped with a pneumatic (BB) cannon and a 360-degree turret rotation device will not allow placing a battery with a capacity of more than 2000 mA. Fourthly, the mass of the model is very small and shakes a lot in motion. Of course, HengLong released a new version of the lower case - made of aluminum, milled, on a torsion bar suspension, but the price of this "half" is almost 800 euros......................... ....... I solved some of the problems by installing a 4 mm thick steel sheet in the lower hull, but I have not decided to strengthen the hull in the area of the track tensioners. I tend to make a 3D model of the lower hull, cut out the parts from steel and weld them ............. THERE WILL BE A KIT of the lower hull.
i see a very good improvement. Keep trying to compete with tamiya but with very good price as always. good job. cant wait to have one or two in Jakarta.
Nice to have a Heng Long staff online. Johnny, if i may feedback, could Heng Long seriously consider pre-painting all its models which does not have camouflage designs? Primarily the Abrams and Challenger 2? Nothing screams "Plastic Toy!" like a plain desert yellow Abrams or Challenger 2. I mean, adding some slight weathering like the Sherman with its blackish "shading" on its plain olive drab plain green, would really make a difference. Heng Long has already done a great job offering value for money RC tanks, a little more value adding would definitely add to its appeal a hundred fold! I have 4 HLs and 3 more on its way, and i really want the Abrams or Challenger 2.
there is where we Tanker do that on our own, is part of the fun, you are asking too much for what they already have done, although still full of flaws and unnecessary designs sometimes lazy.
Just bought 1 of these, how exactly do you put the smoke oil in it?i see the hole in the side but no smoke comes out of it after filling.update this thing lasted 15 minutes and it seems like one of the gears allready broke and the transmitter is broke the right stick is sticking and the tank is going by itself.
I bought the ultimate edition and I'm exited. Do you have a plan to bring out the T90M, the T80 U, BTR 82 A, BMP 3 and the T14 Armata? Thanks for your answer in advance.
I wish Heng long would do either an M48A3 Patton, or an Australian version of the Centurion. I love the tanks I have three and counting, the T90 is bloody awesome.
Love my T-90, but I agree Heng Long’s only real fumble is the terrible old sound...in this day and age it is so easy to get a sound recording of any tank they really need to add specific engine sounds to each tank..... don’t feel like upgrading entire radio system just for the correct sounds....
Yosep Sutandar firstly electronic is different from existing in abrams. also mainly more parts to fixed in t90 and that mean more attention to details. hope that clarify
This is great. The new transmitter now allow barrel elevation in 2 directions. Where I can get this new edition tank? PS: more modern tank in the future please. Wishlist: Merkava Mk4, JGSDF Type 10, K2 Black Panther :D
I see a lot of people saying (in the comets) they have the tank. And when u get it u show your tank to your friends, then u see that it looks like your the only one in the neighborhood that has the tank.
Very nice tank but they simply coppied sounds from Tamiya Leopard 2A6 /MTU MB873-Ka501/ and Tamiya Tiger /Maybach/ . Excately the same sound samples from Tamya recording sessions /KT in cooperation with Saumur Armor Museum in France and Leopard 2 with Krauss-Maffei Wegmann in Germany/ and the same sample sequence. Interesting if Tamiya accepted or would accept it ? Today its not a problem to record own and proper sounds from the real tank. Russian T-90 have quite different engine sound.
the thing is what is the harm anyway? they record the sound to be tiger 2 or tiger 1, why would they go extra miles to make new sound on their own to be different ?
If u had an app to drive it with your phone and there would be camera in the tank so u would drive FPS style and u had like red dot for ai.ing the gun...that would be AWSOME...Add some smoke efect when u fire in the video and I would buy it...and im an old guy....
looks great! although if I were the designer I wouldn't extra gas on the back of my tank.....or is that just a place to store bags and food or something?
