Great show, and wow what a musical performance! Created a Weyes Blood fan right there. Discog, here I come. Sure, Tim hates to admit it, but he's a massive Phil-head. I might even sense a little jealousy. Guy just can't help but steal every show he's a part of.
Watching OHL has helped keep me sane, I always appreciate the vibe of the show but the energy of this one was great! God bless the holy trinity, the haters don't know how to have fun or laugh!
I happen to be Doogie Howser’s grandson; on behalf of Doogie and the Doogie estate, we love ya Tim. We are in full support of you and your stance on Biden all the best 😘💋
@@johnbutler5868 that cover is amazing! They both have great voices but thematically weyes really nails the vocal sound from the time period Lana seems to yearn for and reference
Gilbert Gottfried is all the time talking about Buddy Hackett in the Abbot and Costello biopic death scene, like all the time on his podcast, which is great btw. I still havent seen it, but I will now that Tim has recommended it. I love Gilbert but hes no Tim
Nm, you played it lol, but you mentioned the movie is on nf so I'll watch the whole thing. Gilbert talks about it...a lot. His podcast is just great. I wonder if it's on yt. I havent listened to it in a long time, not since precovid, but it would be perfect for yt. They have interviews with unbelievable guests. Huge names. It's usually about old Hollywood, show business, as they say
they arent making fun of his talent, in fact vic and i think tim as well went out fo their way to say his music is good, and doug said afterwards he actually liked the cover better. the joke is sort of the lack of awareness when it comes to making a good video to acompany his music. hes great at making music, he might wanna hire someone to do a music video tho instead of the awkward looking at the camera and the static angles, and hes very expressive with his motions so i think the other part of the "joke" is that hes an older guy, looks like he could be some random dad, but then BOOM he does this, and hes good at it, but it also kinda looks funny.
@@dom9641 he was obviously made fun of. Even though he sounds great. He sounds like Colin Blunstone. He was teased by Office Hours for the visuals? ... and i gotta say, it sounds a lot better than Tim's serious music.
@@wpac2068 hey im not saying anything bad about the guy, maybe im totally wrong and it was mean idk. to me it just felt like poking some fun but at the same time they complimented him more than they laughed at him. at least thats the vibe i got from it, it didnt feel malicous or mean spirited. and i mean yea i havent really listened to tims music much or this guy. like i said maybe im totally wrong and dont realize that its mean spirited but to me it doesnt come across that way. if anyting its gonna give the guy exposure too, and not the bad kind cus tim specifically said not to go make fun of him or anything and was serious. its just a little youtube gem. the visual doesnt fit the audio and thats why it was funny to me at least. and yea the guy is v talented and the audio was great. the video needs some work and i guess thats what was funny, that and just the randomness of it. once again i could be totally wrong i dont really care i was just throwing a potential possibility in the wind
Geez, I love you Tim but this show was so lackluster and yes- lots of dead air. An absolute uninspired production especially from you Tim. Weyes was phenomenal albeit.
