Ebrahim Moosa addresses contemporary conflicts involving Shariah law in this live "Office Hours" webcast conversation. Moosa is an associate professor of Islamic studies in the Department of Religion and is currently teaching a course called "America's Gods." He is joined by Hina Azam (Duke Graduate School '07) who is an Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies, Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Texas, Austin.

And this is supposed to be a university founded as a divinity school on the foundation of a Christian worldview! God forgive us and have mercy on us!

God is for everybody, so is knowledge and why cant we share and together have a worldview that is humanist.

freedom, justice, values .... and by the way, Islam is more than just Muhammad, goes back to Adam, Abraham, Joseph, Moses ...... and includes Jesus. Its more than just an -ism.

Ok, so basically he thinks that Shariah is a set of "sensibilities," that we need to update Islamic laws to suit \ contemporary life, and that Islam is imperial??? Is he a " Muslim brother" and at the same time an "apologist" for Western modernity?
