This is a serious cultural problem that is swept under the rug. Black Lives Matter seems to apply only when a white person is involved. What about the black on black crimes that continues week after week, month after month, year after year? Sadly, this wonderful young police officer was a victim. The entire black community must address the decades old problem of fatherless children conceived of irresponsible men who leave teen mothers who let the mean, violent streets of Chicago raise the very same perpetrators who killed this beautiful , outstanding woman and police officer. Who is going to stand up for her to address who these criminal thugs were, their family background and what is going to be done to the next wave of vicious thugs?
