This is a three part video of a sunk truck that went under July 4th weekend in Miami Florida. My name is Alfred Montaner host of the boat ramp channel Chit Show All hats available at www.luxuryribtenders.com
Watched the last two prior days, todays video got a different perspective. The boat behind the trailered boat, the guy was so quick to untie from the dock, start the engine and gun it in reverse…. All like in few seconds. Todays video, could see when the truck driver fell out and almost got run over by the truck the boat on the trailer had it motor running… and looked to be in reverse. Was the trailered boat attempting to assist the truck up the ramp by pushing with the motor…but the young man in the boat put the boat in reverse by accident and pulled the truck down. That truck did not look to be 4 wheel drive, just had those big wheels and tires.
We boaters and black point ramp users need to petition the proper authority to have those ramps scarified at an angle . This process is done to roads, overpasses, and bridges where a dangerous situation exists
Truly amazes me how many people don't know how to cinch a dock line, much less cinch the front dock line then crank the drive to the dock and use the engine to pull boat into the dock. But Hey, it's a Chit Show!!!!🤣🤣🤣 .
Your video popped up random in my feed at just the right time. I caught all 3 videos. Bad day for that guy. Crazy. You're a fun guy to listen to.. Fred was close enough to have you for lunch. Thanks for the entertainment and I'll continue following along.
G’Day from Queensland, Australia. Just found your channel, I really enjoyed it, so have subscribed and liked of course. He’s not real big ( compared to Aussie crocs), but I just love Fred, he is so smart, got to be respected. Anyway, great fun videos, thanks.😊
My partner and I regularly watch the chit show.. we post videos of our fishing adventures here in Australia. If it wasn't for Fred we would never of knew there were American crocodiles.
This is actually your 3rd in this series (Not complaining because this time you caught the tow truck coming in). I want to call to your attention the female officer in frame 10:00 -she is carrying a black canvas/cotton case. She walks over to dock #10 and unzips the case. She is wearing polarized sun glasses so she can see in the water. What do you think is in that case? Later after the diver is in the back of the pick up out of the water - the officer is seen walking back to her car or truck with her case in hand. Do you suppose she is the designated Fred sniper? When out at sea the Navy/Coast Guard usually lets the sailors take an occasional swim in the ocean - when this happens there is are people with rifles assigned to watch for sharks! Do you suppose that she was assigned to do the same?
@@AlfredMontaner you have: Trump, DeSantis and Fred- I'm in South Carolina -We have Scott (whom I like but not for President at this point) and Nicki Hailey (was a good governor but again) we need a winner!
Reason for Fred getting close to you is for all the commission yu owe him for all the hats you've sold on his behalf..he's trying to tell yu what's up Alfred give me a piece of that pie..😂
Here in North Queensland, Australia. Two maybe three times a year when the ramps get slippery because of mud or slime like you have, the council/shire/county have a person come along and gerni/water blast it off. All the years of watching your channel and others I’ve never seen any preventative maintenance except for dock replacement and repair 🍺🍺
If you look closely the boat is still attached to the trailer on front of the boat! When you back the trailer too far with the boat hooked up it floats the trailer lifting the back of the truck loosing traction! There is no saving it from that point! Always check drain plug first, then unstrap the back of the boat and remove safety and winch before backing into the ramp
he's been doing this what, 10 years, and still almost missed the money shot getting distracted by an average boat going by.. at least he's learning, the absence of all the "oh boy oh boy" and "here it comes here it comes" is refreshing.
l always use chocks and turn my wheels away from the pier (back of tires pointed towards the pier)if your car/truck starts to roll or slide there is a chance the pier will stop it.
The best practice is to be hard on the brakes until the boat is fully loaded on the trailer. What happens is when the bow of the boat first sets weight on the rear of the trailer, it puts upward force on the hitch of the truck and the tires loose traction. Best to rely on the brakes and the transmission than just the transmission.
We have learnt launching or retrieving our boat to have a set process and stick to it.. if someone asks if we want help I politely say no thanks.. we simply stick to our procedure and have no problems. We have launched our boat literally 100s of times.
How many more boats trucks must get trashed before someone in authority does something about this PROBLEM?? Thousands and thousands of dollars in damages to truck trailers and boats … all the man power police divers divers rescue staff .. I’m absolutely amazed NO one has fixed this problem by altering the ramp angle clean off slippery algi of putting self rescue system in by means of a winch on ramp to pull yourself out if in trouble. . This happens on a weekly basis. When’s anyone going to do anything about this prat this marina ????
Hate to say it but they didn't ask you to leave because of the tow truck line. They cleared you out for line of fire. The female officer at the end of dock as a soft side rifle case at her feet. I am sure it holds some type of rifle.
the way I see it he was backing down, he opened the door to see how he was going and he fell out, with the truck in reverse or neutral bloop bloop, but if the guy in the boat had started the engine as he was on the trailer i think he may have been able to push or at least stop the truck from going backwards but he seemed to freeze and could not figure out what to do
The guy in the boat likely pulled the truck in. Watch the video carefully, its tough cauz the camera pans away for a long time. Boat was attached the whole time!
Boat Ramp success 101 1- Do NOT wear chancletas or walk barefoot 2- Always engage your 4x4 3- Don't use off road tires Unfortunately homeboy slipped and fell out of his truck. ALLL because he was wearing chancletas.
The truck won’t be a loss to the insurance companies they will auction it off to a third party and then they will clean it up and fix like new and ship it to the Midwest where it’s salt free and some one will buy it
@@JacobVanHeel guarantee the insurance company will do that I live in Washington I see I lot of vehicles that there isn’t any thing wrong with them at copart auction place here
Hello, in your float replacement video what is the reference of the makita machine you use to sand the Neoprene? And what type of tray did you adapt to it? And what grain do you use?
Fred is totally disgusted by his cousin in SC killing that poor woman. ''He minded his own bidness and never bothered nobody. Can't imagine what set him off. Regards to all, c'mon down and chill.''.
@ 3:55 Watch buddy fall and almost get rolled over trying to stop the truck from going in..Guy in the boat does nothin to help.. SMDH .. At least trim down and apply fwd throttle !! Do something bruh !!! I would be thru with him ..😏
Does anyone else smell insurance scam. That quite the fall from the truck. To bad the camera didn't capture it completely but he really seemed to roll quite aggressively. I wonder if that was just him trying to get out the way or if it was from him jumping out the truck. Seems pretty okay with watching he's truck slowly go down. If it was me I'd be trying everything to get my truck out the water until it was completely gone. Maybe it was a freak accident but I know a lot of people who open the truck door and never have I heard about them falling out the truck. Seems fishy 😂
Like doesn't look back until on the dock and shrugs his shoulders to his buddy like Owell it's in the water. His buddy with hands on head. Seems like the 2 of them need some acting lessons cause I'm not convinced this was a mistake at the ramp.
