Neville Nazerane But you miss out on the best reward. Getting to punch The Riddler in the face. Seriously that is a sweet reward for collecting all the trophies
I love how he does buy a fast car, ridiculous clothes, and a dangerous lifestyle, but even still, he did what his father wanted, and tried to protect Gotham
@@Wolf10mediahmmm, wouldn’t you say that a billion dollars (that’s how much the Batmobile costs according to the Arkham Knight) worth of investment in, say, affordable housing _might_ just have a much better, long-lasting impact in Gotham for generations? I am a Batman… Stan 🙄, but even I can agree that _Bruce Wayne_ can have a much bigger positive effect on the people than Batman can. But one is just more fun than the other.
@@Ancor_Vantian Nah, being Batman is a better use of the money. If it was used on affordable housing and stuff, most of the money would be pocketed by contractors and third party consultants.
I know right lol. The irony in that part is amazing, Bruce spent his wealth on fast cars (Batmobile) and outrageous clothes (Batsuit) but he did it to help protect and serve millions like his father asked him to. Going against his Dad's wishes in order to fulfill his Dad's wish. Amazing writing. I want a movie based on this game so bad. So cool.
Thomas asked Bruce not to spend the money just for fun on fast cars and outrageous clothes. Bruce built the batmobile and batsuit with the intention to protect Gotham City and its people. So Bruce kept his word.
You know why we cling to Batman so much? We could, theoretically be him. We can never be Superman, but if Batman can overcome tragedy maybe we all can.
@@WSince2000 With Oscar Isaac as two face and Rami Malek as a more clinically insane and calculating but crazy joker, would honestly fit the Matt Reeves batman universe. Hell maybe even Timothée Chalamet as dick grayson.
@@Xomega913 go and watch his Batman audition. He still have acting chops for the character of Bruce Wayne. His real life personallity is very similar tooo Bruce Wayne.
I am a noon gamer, played mostly sports games most of the time. I'm on 45% of this game and I cannot tell you the times I have been in AWE with it. Every turn of the story, the *past* haunting Batman, the *main Villian*, the gameplay, what you can do in the vast world. I don't even know what I'm going to do once I finish.
2022, I’m playing through the Arkham games and I’m watching Arkham Knight trailers to hype myself up. It’s gonna be like my 7th play through and I still get excited lmao
Aryarishi Sikdar You mean USED to be awesome when they had action, but characters you cared about, now its just action and no good story telling, basically Call of Duty is now the Michael Bay style of the games.
Doesn't even die as Batman.or Bruce just a brain washed drone. Then they are hyping up his return in future updates smh. These live service games need to stop planning so far ahead and actually deliver a full story and not teasing seasonal content at the end 24/7
9 years later they kill this batman in the way of Harley Quinn w a gun in Kevin Conroy's last appearance. Rocksteady, held so high and dear by all, has fallen. The legacy of the arkham games will never be forgotten though.
Some say it's because they want to stop the Arkham franchise, so they made a bad game. Why can't they just end it like Uncharted series ? 100%, they were lazy
@LUSTER AMV it's funny because orgin had better boss fight but crappy story and Arkham had better story but boss fights were really bad. When I fought Deathstroke In the tank I thought "yea, after the tanks we both jump out and go toe to toe" but nope that was it
@@MrShabamon You're welcome to your wrong opinion, but nah. Origins had the best storyline of all the games. Knight the worst. Origins invented the Joker switcharoo, Knight just copied it and made Batman's undercover secret admirer to Red Hood, instead of Joker. And Joker blood? You are going to sit there and say "they all get Joker blood, because apparently he had superpowers the whole time, and Harley was going to date some 89 year old man just because he is similar to the to the real Joker's personality, is good writing? Ham fisted. Origins you get Bane roided out of his mind, screaming like a damn monster hunting you in the asylum/prison. Knight you get to be Batman speaking in a high voice praising how strong he is, "look at me, I'm amazing". the other leaves your heart racing, and Knight delivers top tier cringe, with major plotholes. Not the mention the poor writing. There's two Scarecrows, and you can only pick one. Despite being able to beat up 30 trained fighters armed with guns, all at the same time, he couldn't physically take down 2 unsuspecting twig boys. Asylum has a great story too. ! Not saying one game is better than the other, simply the writing in AK sucked.
@@avery.a5948 They literally don't bruv, whatchu smokin' WB fell off real fucking hard after what they did to Batman with Harley Quinn in SSKTJL. You can try all the "Not canon" bullshit, but until and unless the devs retcon it, we have to live with it.
"My deepest regret is I will not see you grow into the good man I know you will become." -Bruce puts on the cowl That line was is the best in the trailer. It really sums up who Bruce Wayne really is.
“In death I will love you forever your father Thomas” That line stays with me. He’s basically assuring his son that while he’s not able to be there with him physically his love for Bruce will always be present
gimpinmypants I am very excited for this and know it will be an excellent game because 1. They are willing to postpone the game and truly polish it to perfection (this is the most development time Rocksteady has spent on any Arkham game) 2. Even though they didn't anticipate it to be rated M, they aren't watering down the game just to have a T rating to sell broader. Then of course the world is bigger, story is darker, more villains, definitely more Batman gadgets, and some of the best graphics this generation so far for consoles.
gimpinmypants I was just going to comment the exact same thing dammit. I was going to say "Damn... over a year ago this trailer came, time just flys. Doesn't matter anyway this game looks so promising i'de wait another year if i had too".
Unfortunately, Rocksteady has abbandoned the Arkham series. It left its child to a greater future, a greater series in the future. The legends never die.
Don’t pretend bro. Let them have what they want. The best thing we can do is not support any future projects DC decides to promote. I know I’m going to. Let your money do the talking. That’s the only thing these companies will listen to.
Eric Spenceri Yeah well, Harley's the one with an actual duct-taped grenade launcher to a machine gun. She has like a 240B or an MK46/48 or something and duct taped an M203 to the bottom of the lower receiver.
The message from Bruce's father never gets old. It feels as if it was also given to my own late father to me... Although there are children who never got enough time with their father. But have faith that somehow at least once in their life, their old man thought nothing but the best for them. Believe in it and go do better things in yours guys. Make them proud!
Naruto Uzumaki I'm really looking forward to the Killing Joke with Mark Hamill, Kevin Conroy, and Bruce Timm. :D I think that a live action movie of the Arkham series would be more difficult to successfully pull off however I would love to see an animated film with this quality in theaters.
@@misterperfect6072 no u fukin idiot. Thomas was saying not to spend money on cars and clothes to show off. Bruce spent money on cars and clothes, but not in the way thomas was talking about (which would dishonour him)
@@ASH-hi2mf idiot when you do business you have to maintain public image like a businessman not like a punk. Bruce Wayne deals with high-profile people not with morons like you. So don't compare your ordinary life with Bruce Wayne's lifestyle 😁. True Batman fans know Bruce doesn't spend his money like an idiot unlike some wanna be Batman fans like you.
Trey Carter exactly the only realistic live action Arkham game I want the guy from origins or knight to play That Arkham knight live action Needs to be produced by rocksteady 20th country fox and paramount studio
NO IT DOESNT THIS IS WHY MOVIES ARE DESTROYING VIDEO GAME FRANCHISES let movie guys make movies, and let video game guys make games...do not cross either.......everytime they make a game into a live action movie its mediocre...AT BEST they are sooo similar now .....that people get bored in the movie because they already expirienced a better version DO NOT MAKE GAMES/MOVIES INTO GAMES/MOVIES.......PERIOD
I just had to come back here after crying inside from what I witnessed in _Kill The Justice League_ . They have ruined everything! Kevin Conroy would never have gone along with this if he were still here. What we witnessed is everything opposite as to what Conroy’s Batman was and stood for. He wouldn’t allow his enemies to taunt him in his final moments. If Scarecrow couldn’t brainwash Batman with his fear toxin, there’s no scientifically possible way Harley Quinn of all people could do that! Arkham Knight is the definitive ending to the series. At least they gave Conroy the respectful ending he deserved and it was a perfect ending to Batman’s story. The game said it best: This is how it happened. This is how the Batman died. Rest in Peace Kevin Conroy ❤
@dodo2208 I mean not the title just as a person but I don't get y Superman got the title. He is a great superhero but he lets his emotions get him(injustice universe)
To Kevin Conroy, may you hang up your cape as your crusade is over. Having brought tens of millions of people hope as the Batman for decades now is the time when the darkness is being replaced with the dawn. Rest now Batman also known as Kevin Conroy, your fight is over from the monster within can no longer harm you.
TheSilentStorm ummm no not really the dark knight is my fav movie of all time and i like batman 89 i also like returns and the dark knight rises but ots your opinion i guess
Alex Moak well i wouldn't go that far i mean the christopher reeve superman movies were pretty good and while man of steel wasn't as great as advertised it was still a fun enjoyable movie with great action. Ps i am not a fanboy i enjoy both marvel and dc
dodo2208 And Boss Battles But THE OVER USED JOKER IS THE MAIN PROBLEM WITH THE LAST TWO! Edit:Ok I was Probably Overreacting Sides ITS MARK HAMIl! ( My Second Favorite Joker)
dlozza2000 Well Don’t Get Me Wrong He’s Great BUT He Was In All 4 the Last two Said the Joker Was Not Gonna Be There THAT Was The Problem Also I was Disappointed That Scarecrow Was Not The Main Villain
Damn. Can't believe its been 2 years since this trailer came out. Feels like yesterday when I was excited as shit for the game to come out when I saw this epic trailer.
+Gaming , movies Arkham Knight had an AWFUL $40 season pass, but it's worth its price now at like 20 bucks. I can't speak for the timed exclusive (me being a ps user), but yea I would be pretty pissed as well. But I just had so much fun driving around taking out thugs in the bat mobile. City had a better story, but I would take AK's mechanics and gameplay over City any day. In my opinion, the game was like a 9 lol, but unfortunately it wasn't the expected 10
The rocksteady's Arkham legacy is the most amazing batman representation i have ever seen....the logo is amazing....so is the batmobile....(it is not a heavy artillery tank like tumbler and neither like a funky tuned batmobile with wings....it looks like an actual batmobile)...The batsuit is great like it should....The action choreography is amazing and the storyline is fantastic...even the potrayal of villians and supporting charachters is spot on...(I mean common, the nightwing looks like the way he is supposed to be...even bruce looks like the way he should be) This legacy really shows the perfect representation of how a batman should be....i am really thankful to you for making this game how it is now.... Big fan from India
This Batmobile is just as tank like as the Tumbler. Which btw was really a cross between a hummer and a lambo. I know this considering I stood next to it on set. It was wide but it was low to the ground but had quite the armor plating. This one sits even higher and is less sporty.
"Actual batmobile" funny, Tumbler IS first batmobile that could actually work. You could have a muscle car like in a comic, but it's just a fantasy. Or you see an army using a musle cars in action? ... I don't mind you liking streamlined cars better, but if you go for realism...
Dude Chiii true but genetics may play a role in his build he may still be fairly lean since he seems tall and skinny naturally but hopefully he puts on a good amount of weight for the role .💪🏽
The score. The will. The setting of the scene is stark but still hopeful contrast to Thomas' wishes. This is better than most feature film trailers. Still gets me a little emotional.
