Yeah it is a pretty strong spell, even though it costs a ton of mana

I only wish Emrakul was legal to run in this deck just for the flavor of it all :(

@@shwars576 actually, they did include Eldrazi Temple, even though they did not include Sliver Hive in the Sliver deck. I was pleasently surprised! :)

Yeah holy shit, I played with that card a bunch when I first got my Saheeli precon from C18, and I *never* clicked on that despite Eldrazi being basically my favourite creatures in the entire multiverse 😵😵😵

Also, maybe I'm reading too much into this but its other rules text makes it act a lot like a triggered ability, in that it's gone once it's done and can't be countered by effects that counter spells. I know that exile clause is used on a lot of extra turn effects nowadays but I just get the feeling the combination of the two is exactly what would come up with discussion around "triggered abilities as a sorcery".

But even for the corolles mana - its better then others in therm of "proper" special lands we get here...

A 5 color deck has less room for utility lands than a colorless deck does.

My only sadness with it is that it seems DREADFULLY overpowered as compared to the other pre-cons so we may not be able to see a Commander Masters Pre-Con EDSC episode.

It seems like they revealed each of these decks in ascending power order, slivers ironically seemed like a terrible pre con, while PW seemed to be a all right planswalker deck (no I don't excuse the terrible choice of jace reprints) a little disappointed that teferi pw cards got shipped for this one, enchantments actually has me excited, and then this elderazi deck just seems pretty good to run out of box and I love the new it that betrays art.

For me, this & the planeswalker deck are the clear winners. It's not great, but those two have far better manabases than the other decks & they have what are for me the most exciting cards. The Chain Veil & Deepglow Skate along with the red walkers will genuinely steal games.

This one was the only one I was interested in getting as well, if for no other reason than that this was a design space not seen before.

​@@raypowers781cascade requires you to reveal until you hit a card with lesser CMC. You can't cascade All is Dust into It That Betrays unfortunately

Right, but casting a cascade spell is optional. You can put it on the bottom of your library if you don't want to cast it.

@@Hakaze not sure where you get 7 from. There's only 2 versions of each legendary Titan. 1 emrakul is banned, the other emrakul is miserable to play against (and really should have been in the main CMM set)

Eh, most Eldrazi decks are every bit of colourless support going anyway, wish we had gone more than 1 titan

I was thinking the same thing. Just artifact creature tribal with enough Eldrazi for me to count on my hands

This is the same thing that happened with the Jund lands deck. People expected a bunch of degenerate land strategies when it focused on things that involved a lot of ramp, with some land recursion. If you actually think about what precons are meant for it should be obvious it wouldn't be hyperfocused on Eldrazi, especially since there aren't a lot of opportunities to design around colorless nonartifacts.

Emrakul (the OG) is banned in commander so it wouldn’t make sense to reprint it in a commander focused set. The second one is just being held back because card stock market

One of the emrakuls are banned. So 1/5. They still did manage to pick the cheapest one.

Value isn't there. Most of the cards here are just bulk value

Value wise the Walker deck is likely by far the best, but this one is certainly very playable. Makes sense since Colorless manabases are pretty easy lol.

Possibly has something to do with most colorless decks playing a large overlap of cards, only so much you can reprint when avoiding expensive cards. And I imagine also being our first ever colorless precon wotc probably wanted to make sure it's at least playable
