I love that we now get sparrow racing, for me it use to be racing random people to the warsat on the Saber Strike or other things like that. I just hope that any goods you get don't require a fire team because not all players want to work with randoms or have friends to play with.

I've been playing since November 28th, 2014. This is it; the Hype I've been feeding everyone for so long has reached it's climax: SPARROW RACING ! All I ever wanted since launch was Sparrow Racing and Swords.

This is going to be so much fun! I will start hoping back onto destiny more frequently now.

Sparrow racing is cool and all but what about actual real game content? like new strikes, new maps... anything?

Look, another pvp event. The last PVE event we had (which, to clarify, is an event that happens every other week at most) was queens wrath over a year ago. IB happens all the time, throw us PVE players a bone Bungie, come on!

Dear bungie I am a huge fan of destiny this is the game that I have loved since minute one of the project. The concept art the ideas the story. Even if people complain about how the story first was and how it dropped I like how it work I love how you don't what really happened that you had that since of I've been dead for a long time I don't know this but people need me and I'm gonna do whatever it takes to stay alive kind of feel this gets has been my life and I have listened to people in my raid groups online chats strikes you name it I've done it and this is something that should a permanent addition to destiny like trials my friends and I have waited for this. The suits loom amazing the sparrows look even better these are things people are gonna want to keep forever. Which brings me to my next suggestion for instance like sparrow racing people have wanted more put of their starships like space fights like the taken battle against the dreadnaught people want to be aces in the sky. Also probably the more heard trading people want trading but I belive it should be under certain conditions such as an exotic weapon for an exotic weapon of the same class kind of like the system for infusions this would make sure people had the weapons they want but with prices there could also be a deduction in legendary marks this is Richard a number one Dan amongst a million of them asking you to at least consider these an option if anyone agrees my Playstation name is Drakesdouble and no its not the rapper it's the video game

You should make an event where a tortured taken breaks free of what oryx has done and can control himself but still looks taken and goes through pain and you should fo a linited time quest with him and make a really good connection with him then he dies or something at the end of the quest and he gives you something. That would be cool

I wanted racing in year one, happy its coming out. Looks fun and hopefully all the gear we collect from it can be used in pve and pvp so it don't turn into collective junk.

Sparrow racing is a great idea Bungie. Nextly though, if you really want to do something big, is allowing us to control our ships, have space battles, and have the ability to fast travel to a certain area on a planet. If it becomes a DLC of its own, that'd be really cool.

Now this is what Destiny needs! I know a lot of people, including myself, have been wanting this for a LONG time!

I think this is a great idea! I think instead of a 3 week event it could be an actual all year thing like the crucible or PoE and you could get reputation like you do with other factions with Amanda as the 'faction' leader.

Sparrow Motocross... Jumps, Stunts, & Points for Jumps Shooting from your might mount too maybe? Dunno... Just a couple thoughts after a race I did. Thought about and figured why not through it out...

That Sparrow Racing League armor! Those sparrows! Haven't touched Destiny since Fallout dropped, but that gear... It calls to me!

I love this idea, the next addition to crucible should be dogfights in space and/or high above planets, this would be a fun and unique way in what ships people use or like. Please try to do this as soon as possible, keep up the great work!

It's awesome how a community as big as Destiny's can make something happen in the game. This is basically happening because of the community. Im fucking hyped! If it's as fun as it looks, I will definitely want to see more of sparrow racing.

Played it today at PSX, and I fell in love. (Came in 3rd place, didn't win the shirt :( ) But thank you guys for amazing work, keep it up. I'll be there tomorrow to try it again!

Wouldn't it be cool if we got a weapon sponsor (Suros, Hakke, Omolon, Crux/Lamar, Tex Mechanica, etc.) and earned an exclusive weapon through races?

I'm looking forward to this, but mostly so I can get new Sparrows. The race looks really good, and the fact that we're going through enemy territory will make it really fun and chaotic.

bungie, I want to honestly thank you for putting chaperone in the game, mission was so worth my favorite weapon. I got it the very first time anyone could get it, so I worked my ass off

Cool but what happened to the cut content from the vanilla base game announcement trailer back in 2014 or 2013? It was a long time ago.

Will this have rewards? Will you make more maps in the future? I'm sure this idea bodes excellently with the community but it looks kind of small, if you wanna make it big set it out like a tournament give rep and have faction(s) sparrows, and have leaderboards. Up next in live events: FACTION WARS

in kilometers per hour. interesting, mars is a 3 lap course and venus is a 3 lap track as well. seeing 100-162 km per hour speeds

Not gonna lie, I love the Sparrow Racing event!!! Maybe there will be a Christmas event like Festival of The Lost?

Man, even though The Taken King left a really bad taste in my mouth as a Day one player, I would've lived to have played this. Still hoping they'll do something like this in Destiny 2, because Destiny finally has its hooks in me and I can't break away.

Can yall add in like a huge battle thing? Like you know in Planetside 2, but just with an army of guardians vs like a whole army of enemies. Y'all people know whee I'm kinda goin?

I'm looking back at Destiny Videos from back in 2013, you know E3 and stuff like that, and this strange but calm forest keeps popping up. It's like a dawn/dusk kind of setting, with an acient, worn down house in front of the player. I keep feeling like we'll see it some time in the future, maybe Destiny 2 or a prequel (Not Destiny 2.0). In Destiny, you start off by being resurrected by your new ghost, not knowing anything about your previous life, I have this strange feeling that this "House on the Hill" has a connection to the player's old life. Let me know what you think about this.

Bungie, WE LOVE IT! You guys implemented this game mode well. Next steps: Let sparrow racing return in a fashion similar to Iron Banner where it's an occasional event that appears every month. Add two more racing modes, perhaps a mode where crashes are penalized with disqualification to make it a real death race. Also maybe a mode where we can use our supers to attack other racers. Lastly, add two more race tracks and I'd like for the enemies to have more presence. Put some Dregs on pikes and have the pop in on the 3rd lap to shake things up a bit. Thank Bugie can't wait to see the real deal Sparrow Racing League...

map voting is a must I don't see a lot of maps that I'd like to in the crucible. the sparrow racing was fun in small doses for me. maybe if the sparrows where customisable?

The only gripe O have about this is that you can't use use your guns in it. I mean it is great if you can ram into a enemy player or a random enemy but I'm more adapted to the concept of a death race with guns not ramming into each other

Don't know why they removed Sparrow Racing, everyone I've come across since the D1 beta wanted Sparrow racing for so long, and loved it when it was around and wanted it to stay.

bungie please make destiny an MMO-FPS.. where there's a lot of timed events. Make it feel like it's alive. i'm really expecting more of these through 2016 before destiny 2 comes out.
