Yes. The Batman theme was previewed alongside the costume over two years before the movie came out. Also composed by Michael Giacchino. Definitely a pattern here.
Micheal Giacchino is the best having blessed up with MCU theme, Spider-Man theme, Doctor Strange theme, Werewolf by Night, and now The Fantastic Four theme!!!!
Sounds great. Love the story it tells. From the "First Steps" into the unknown of Space to the frightening things they encounter to the rise of them as heroes.
The theme seems joyous and optimistic and is already conjuring images in my head about the movie. Thanks for posting this, I'm honestly obsessed with this now. I hope they release it on Spotify!
Michael Giacchino came out at the end asking everyone to please stay 4 more minutes to enjoy this. It was funny to watch him asking the LA crowd to not leave early.
I had heard the recording from Michael Giachinno;s panel in D-23, but this live performance was phenomenal. I think this movie just might bring tears of joy to my eyes. Thanks for sharing, John.
They hire different composers for different projects. Michael Giacchino on this one. He's worked for and around Marvel before (including as a director on Werewolf By Night), but he also did The Batman and a lot of other stuff.
Michael Giacchino is my favourite composer of all time. He composed Up, The Batman, The Incredibles, Inside Out, all the MCU Spider-Mans, Doctor Strange, Planet of the Apes trilogy and more
I know that in 2022 and 2023 Marvel had some wonky years but I do really feel like Brave New World, Thunderbolts and the Fantastic Four are all gonna be solid movies. I wonder how they're gonna set up Doctor Doom in this F4 alternate reality
At this point I think they just need to cast Wesley Snipes and make it right before Doomsday, then after they reboot they can cast someone else. It would just be dumb to do it any other way now that Blade made his presence known in Deadpool & Wolverine
I was there! I didn't catch you it was just a flood of people when we exited, but wow what a spectacular show they put on, it was incredible! and so immersive!
I'm gonna get goosebumps in the theater when the film comes out finally being able to hear it in context. Besides the Avengers theme, the MCU doesn't have many iconic themes like older comic book movies, so I'm glad we are getting back to that era where the score isn't an afterthought but is integral to the essence of the film (i.e. The Batman theme)
Just getting the feeling of the 60’s I think it’s going to be good this fantastic four movie I do think Kevin has massively thought this through and wanted marvel to take their time especially with casting and stuff like that
Great appearance by Michael Giacchino, the writer of INSIDE OUTs iconic themes; on the day that Inside Out 2 passed 2019 Lion King for Highest Grossing Animated Film of All Time!!
Sounds perfect! The mystery, the wonder, the underlying danger, also exploration, curiosity, whimsicality, so many things a good composer can convey fantastically (no pun intended...or is it?) 😎
Even if this movie is good enough itll work because the rest of the fantastic 4 movies don't set a huge precedent or competition. Hope this fantastic 4 movie revives the franchise like X-Men first class did for the X-Men
When they told the audience to stay until the end, I honestly didn't know what to expect. I thought it would be something about Dr. Doom, but I accept this.
I do prefer the John Ottman score from the original Tim Story Fantastic Four movies just due to nostalgia and I consider it the theme song I associate with the Fantastic Four in general the most but I love this new one from Michael Giacchino as well and I can’t wait for the movie
1:24 It sounds very eerie, like some cosmic horror. In fact, this whole theme has a cosmic wonder quality to it. It's also somewhat reminiscent of thee 2005 theme, which was awesome and underrated.
This definitely has a World's Fair, House of Tomorrow meets space adventure vibe and i dig it. Its like if Star Trek starred The Venture Bros and im here for it
The theme is going to have to grow on me, and seeing it applied to the film will help. It's not Williams, Horner, Hermann , Barry , or Goldsmith, but it's got some promise. I think that Michael Giacchino is the composer, so he's the best composer (behind Hans Zimmer) for the job. Can't wait to hear more! 😊
The new _Fantastic Four_ theme goes clobbering to the beat with the orchestration and the choir flames on with passion. The MCU brings a whole new action 4 the fantastic adventure.
