I’d probably love this ride so much if it were a sit down coaster

Worst experience on a coaster I've ever had so far, I remember the details like it was yesterday. I never screamed out of fear, pain, and agony before. I felt my entire body breaking before me, shivering at the fact that you have to stand on a ride after waiting in line, standing. (I'm dumb, I know.) Yet I was somehow encouraged to go on- I can still hear the words "Do it for the credit" echoing in my head as I walk up in line. Fortunate enough, or unfortunately, there was no line. I tried to think positive, and attempted to be in a crouching position, but the restraints prevented me from doing so. I sighed, looking to my left as the train goes up the lift hill. I wonder to myself, 'Why did I agree to do this? Why can't I just go on Superman again instead?' I continue to watch the happy faces on the B&M flying coaster, glistening in its newly red-painted coat of track. The pre drop came, and I pretend to be excited, holding on to my last hopes. The drop was the most shallow drop on an extreme coaster, I became instantly from hopeful to disappointed. By the time the train went through the first inversion, it was nothing but a train ride from hell from their on, till the end. I felt like I was trapped in my own personal hell, receiving pain from every part of my body as the B&M stand-up coaster jerks me around. My head bangs, my knees quiver, my neck is twisted, my spine is slammed constantly against my seat, and my balls were crushed. The ride felt like it went on for an eternity, I realized this on the mid-break. About what seemed to be ever since the day it was first placed on the New Jersey land, I finally was released from the clutches of evil, waddling in pain. I quickly took some Advil and sat in the shade for times of healing. And to this day, the fact, although scarce, there's more of this model (including a possibly even worse one in Carowinds), haunts me. Enough of my story-telling ass, ride this ride with caution.

If you’re a masochist this is the ride for you, you won’t be able to walk correctly after riding this. But to be honest the first part of the ride isn’t even bad, once you get to the middle and end the blood rushing to your legs starts getting unbearable and just ruins the whole experience.

My genitals didn't have such a good experience with this ride...

Went to six flags for the first time yesterday and this was my least favorite ride 😭 It's so painful, the seats suck, it made my vagina hurt and you know how it tells you to keep your head back? I did that and my head still banged against the sides of the restraints. And if my vagina hurt? Imagine if you have balls, Jesus christ

I don't understand why people hate this stand up, I find it fun!

I don't mind the standing up part. That's not the part that's uncomfortable, at least not for me. The part that's bad is how much it bangs your head around. Save the time and ride Medusa in the front row instead. Similar type of ride, except floorless, not standing, and it's WAY smoother, especially in the front row.

As a Green Lantern fan with a crush on Hal, I got excited for this ride. I soon learned it SUCKED!! I THREW UP afterwards!!

Honestly, I went on this ride today (and I’m a teen) and it’s not as bad as everyone makes it seems. It hurts your legs after you get off, but standing up makes it so much more thrilling. Sure, the ride may have kinks to work out for maximum fun, but it was one of the funnest rollercoasters I’ve been on.

This ride sucks bc you have to stand. It drained the blood out if my legs. Not comfy. Terrible idea. Like girl wtf?

I went there today and all the blood rushes down your legs and they burn and hurt so bad and it’s hard to walk after. This ride should be shut down or have a warning I don’t recommend it

If you are a man, prepare to have your nuts crushed against that horrible "seat" that separates your legs. Those loops are terrible because you'll feel all your blood and weight go directly onto your legs and it's a really painful experience

Best way to enjoy this ride is just to not go on it in general

A lot of people complain about the head banging on this ride. And how rough it is. Makes me imagine, what if SFGA called bolliger and mabillard to have sit down trains replace the stand-up trains? Would it improve the quality of the ride?

I went on this ride twice. The first time I felt like my ears got boxed in I can't imagine how a boxer with cauliflower ear must feel. Not to mention my crotch felt sore. A few weeks later I thought I might give it another chance. The second time it was still painful, although my ears didn't hurt, my crotch was still a little sore, I had the seat a little lower this time too. But this time I had a pain in my calves that I didn't notice until I got off and started walking. On a good note though it feels like I've been hitting the gym. Even two days later my calves have a good "work out" kind of sore

I was willing to give this ride a chance, even though I had bitter feelings towards it since it replaced the Great American Scream Machine, which was my favorite coaster in the park. And after riding it, ... Yeah, I would've rather still had Scream Machine here. Not a fan. It's too bad, 'cause this actually could've been a good coaster, if not for one MAJOR issue. Believe it or not, I had no problem with my legs or "lower regions" hurting. But the HEAD BANGING! My God! That was almost Mind Eraser-level head banging! I got off of this with a worse headache than I ever did on Scream Machine!

Good piece of advice from someone who loves this coaster HEAD BACK and don’t sit down oh yeah btw have your crotch a quarter of and inch from the seat. Enjoy your ride

If the Green Lantern roller coaster was a drug, it would be salvia (because of the discomfort and "I can't wait for this to end" effect). Nitro would be acid. El Toro would be shrooms. Kingda Ka would be DMT.

I stood in line for 45 mins (the longest line in the park that day) and thought the concept of the “stand up coaster” was cool and gave it a shot. And boy was I wrong!! This is by far the worst roller coaster in the park. This banged my head so bad and every time we hit the loop my legs felt like they were about to break! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 it would def be better if it was a sit down type coaster. I will not ride again.

This is one of 4 coasters I've never been on yet at this park and considering the warnings from both my family and these comments, I think I'll be skipping this one forever lol. The layout doesn't seem like it would provide much more than Medusa anyways, and surely not enough of a difference to realize it through the pain

This ride is disgusting made my legs shake uncontrollably I couldn’t breathe my arms and legs tingled went numb my head was extremely dizzy I started seeing spots felt nauseous and blacked out A woman in the cart infront also passed out so while I’m feeling all of this I had to wait a good 7 min Strapped in not being able to get out in 95° weather and not one person helped in anyway the ride operator came out and did ABSOLUTELY nothing but got me aggravated saying “I’ve been in the medical field for over 10 years you just gotta breathe“ then what u doing clicking buttons at 6 flags mr doctor

I rode this several days ago. It was one of the worst rides because it hurts. My head keeps bouncing on the pads. It feels like someone is constantly punching my head.

In my opinion if six flags remove this coaster and add another one on this place it would be better

This ride has a lot of mixed reviews whether to ride it or not i personally think this ride is good if you do what they say and try as hard as possible to stay standing it’s smooth but a lot people are discouraged to ride this coaster because of its trains which are stand up coasters which aren’t know for being the most comfortable because it’s a unnatural position to be in while riding a coaster that goes 154ft up in the air but I’d say ride it a lot of people say it’s a one time thing so your never going to ride it again but I would definitely ride this again

This ride smashes your head against very hard pads the entire time - hated that part, otherwise the sensation of standing up is pretty wild.

This ride’s layout is good, but shitty cart design. The sign says you have to keep your feet flat, leg straight, and your head laying back, but if the cart starts dropping and starts being shaky, it freaking hurts.

My legs always feel weird when I get off this coaster.

I remember when this was the “Chang” at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom before it closed.

I went on this last weekend and I will NEVER AGAIN go on a stand up coaster. My legs were SCREAMING during and even after it was done. This ride needs to be shut down immediately

Honestly i wouldnt go on it again. It gave my friends headaches but the cramp,numbness tingling it gave me in my left leg was painful...it was hard to tolerate the rest of the ride...couldnt wait to get off.

Got on this 3 days ago. Legs are still sore and my head is still throbbing. By far the worse roller coaster I been on in my life. Never again.

I went on this ride today and it has a awful stomach drop feeling on the first big hill but beside that it's a okay ride it will make your legs cramp a little bit but beside that it's ok. 5/10 I would rate this

These commenters are drama queens, went on it today it was awesome, as long as you put yourself in a comfortable position, your nuts are fine. The only bad thing was your calves felt like you just left the gym. But it was defiantly worth it. So if your worried about this ride because of these comments, don’t be because I was and realized it was nothing. So just ride with these in mind and enjoy. I’m definitely going on again one day

Why do stand up coasters even exist

quick tip: if you had more fun waiting on line than riding the coaster, then its not a good coaster. Go ride medusa or el toro instead of this

Great layout, terrible cars. Left me and my girlfriend with massive headaches. Remove the standup coaster component and you have a far better ride.

I kept hitting my head to the sides of the headrest. And I work out every day. Not an F1 pilot but I have a strong enough body to keep myself in form. The only ride that I wouldn't recommend at Six Flags is this one unless they fix the problem.
