Hey you two (and a half….love Mary Marin!). I clicked on one of your videos, and I’m hooked! I LOVE your positive energy! Normally, people as young as yourselves are busy partying and being carefree and somewhat irresponsible. I am AMAZED at your maturity and success …… especially with your parenting style. I have (and continue to have) questions about God’s existence. I am 58, with chronic SEVERE pain, and have spent nearly half my life having surgeries (more than 25 in the last 25 years) can’t work (I’m on disability and social security), and have a 30yo son who has mental health issues. I spend most of my time in bed and suffer from depression. I have been told that God doesn’t give us more than we can handle. But it is really hard to believe that He could put me through this. I want to believe, and find myself praying from time to time. But my life continues to be more and more difficult, the older I get. Do you have any words of encouragement (without being over-the-top religious)?

What I did when I moved and didn’t have the money to buy all new like I would’ve wanted, was I painted a lot!! For example, the mirrors in the bathroom, paint them gold!! Or the light fixtures and that kind of stuff!! ❤

The light fixtures are amazing. Gold is gaudy and will definitely isn't the classic everyone thinks it is. As people have said paint the mirrors gold. Or at least try thrifting things first.

You can spray paint the fixtures with a gold paint that will look fine. Especially for the towel holder set in that powder room. Just buff it lightly with sand paper 😁

I can definitely see the age and date of the house with all the browns and woods throughout the house. 😅 definitely not a modern home but you can definitely over time do projects in each room and change it to your liking! You can either sell the things you’re not using, gift them to friends, or use them in other rooms. ❤
