i really like the kid from oregon state.. if we trade down a little i wouldn’t mind getting him and maybe even another lineman with that extra pick we get, or maybe worthy/thomas
Odunze or trade back 4 a Lineman. (Any of the 4 OT Fashanu,Fatanu,Fuaga,Latgam) The 2nd round pick can be more impacful (With all the 3rd & 4th round picks) 2 move back up for a DEFINITE impact Player...
Hell F#cken yeah. It's about time. It seemed like forever, let's get this this freaking show started. With the 10th pick of the 2024 NFL draft, The mighty New York Jets select, Brock freaking Bowers,TE. From the University of Georgia, A Georgia Bulldog. And the crowd goes wild. J.E.T.S, JETS JETS JETS.
Waiting for the opening bell...hit the opening bell..clap politely..let the games begin! Watch the stock board...run hard and get your horses..bang! Pull out a can of whoop#@$ss!
I love you Joey D but We had a chance to develop a QB with the exact same skillset, playing style and throwing motion as our HOF QB. After HOF QB coach Greg Knapp died and Zach didn’t get to learn from him we traded for Rodgers and we wanted Zach to develop under him. The Rodgers injury ruined everything. If Rodgers didn’t get injured, Zach would’ve been able to improve in the shadows without being thrusted in again with all the pressure. Even though we ran through over 15 different lineman because of injury, which is unprecedented, he still outplayed guys like mahomes, allen, hurts, wilson, stroud(in the rain). He was scapegoated by the media and fans anyways. Zach deserved to sit and develop under Rodgers like we originally planned. After he has a Geno Smith/ Drew Brees career resurgence under Sean Peyton, and after Aaron Rodgers walks away we should sign him back to a contact. Sounds crazy but after 2022 everyone was looking at Geno Smith as a potential free agent target. We ended up trading for 40 year old Rodgers because we looked at Zach as being the heir for the next 10+ years after him. We had a chance to develop Rodgers 2.0 the QB of the future and end the QB curse but we traded him for a bag of chips. The QB curse continues. It’s not only that multiple QBs have gotten injured for the season but coaches have also literally died to keep the QB curse alive. After Rodgers walks away after the super bowl and Zach has a Geno Smith / Drew Brees career resurgence under Seaon Peyton, and is a free agent, we should bring him home and resign him. “I’d like to be able to play a few good years here and then hand it right back off to zach and let him go for the next 15” -Aaron Rodgers, August, 2023.
I know we’re in win now mode but if we kick ass this year and rodgers leaves in 2 years. We don’t have our next guy. Maybe get a Brady on the 5th pick? Idfk
The Jets are poised to win now and I feel Thomas Jr should be the pick.. I liken them to the Vikings the year Moss got drafted. No, Thomas is NOT Moss however they have a similar skill set. The Vikings that year already had Carter, Reed and Smith as the RB with an aged Cunningham. They didn’t need Moss but getting him took them over the top due to that skill set. And the Jets Defense is far more elite than that team led by Randle.
