TwiZone Is Ma Lifeu a lot of people hate her because she’s russian (white) and in the kpop scene...they feel that she should just persue her music career in Russia/a western country. But like there’s plenty of non-koreans in kpop that nobody attacks. Japan has a thriving idol scene too so with that logic japanese kpop idols should just “stick to japan.” Lana hasn’t done anything wrong. She was just born a race that some people (usually foreigners, i haven’t seen many koreans whatsoever upset with her) unfortunately can’t accept in the industry. Haters will try and find excuses like her being “subpar” at dancing/singing to hate on her so it doesn’t look like blatant racism, but even if she isn’t the best singer/performer she’s just as talented as plenty other idols.

@Sansmeilys i think she said shes from the asian part of russia, plus its quite clear on the map that most if not all of north asia is russia, hence why you see so many russians in the East (asian side) with more asian features and cultures rather than european ones

The “Work ‘til your idols become your rivals” part actually has a deeper meaning... It means that when she was a trainee, she trained looking up to these idols who we all see as role models. After working so hard she became an idol herself, and now those people she looked up to are now her “rivals.” She is working hard everyday to become as successful as these people we call idols.

she started from scratch. she learned how to sing, how to rap, in a language she's not even fluent in. she learned how to dance as well. she has trained as much as any other idol and is constantly practicing in order to improve. above all she's an extremely sweet and down to earth girl. and all of it is taken as a joke just because she's not asian. is this the world we live in?
