It is finally here the music video for "If I were the Devil." This Video was done by Inland Film Co. and they did an amazing job. The Video itself is a piece of art and it was all done in one shot. I hope y'all enjoy it as much as I do!
youre not looking hard enough lol..i mean you got merle haggard, george jones, johnny cash, creed fisher, cody jinks, aaron lewis, hank williams jr etc all these outlaw country artist are a real deal and spread good powerful message
@@specialopssoldier1 Dude, this was in the context of new music. Lmao. It's hard to navigate through new music like WAP and find any real message or emotion behind the lyrics. That being said, I appreciate the recommendations from the outlaw country genre, they're all outstanding artists.
@@TheAngryGnome Tyler Childers And caamp is a hidden gem. If country is your thing Colter wall. The other 2 have some country roots tho I would put more into an Appalachian bluegrass genre
@@CosmicCat23 Fair. I think a lot of country gets shafted in the mainstream because it carries a lot of southern ideals. It seems like modern "country" music is just country-flavored pop music. That's why finding music like this is like finding diamonds in a coal mine.
Especially the part about making the wolves fight each other until there are only sheep. What better way to get rid of the people that would resist then to feed them to the meat grinder.
The end of this video truly supports the meaning of this video. The way that the camera looks over the city, which were becoming a thing as humans and life started to evolve and become more complex, then also how Colby lights a cigarette, and how the camera keeps rolling passed the vineyard, as us humans have made our own sinful pleasures ourselves, and also as the sirens were going off, almost as a signal of trouble and sin, and then the distant silence, as if nobody is looking around at the world and what's happening to it. It's really no wonder why the Devil always stays in Hell, because this WORLD even frightens him.
Now if only you could see just what you didn't conceive when you chose to proceed with another praise-laced disease the addiction to things you've been conflicted and this is only but my conviction to help you also when I listen but hear the deepest sound lost lamb yelling wolf's howl "I'm the heaviest crown" so take another look around the soft quiet killing spree you gave to another man's town when the morrow light dims night lights down you'll see just how bright hellfire flames can spark in my town for amongst us there are also those of you who choose to listen with deaf ears to blind men's simple decisions made loud
How is this Artist not an international superstar already? It hurts to see people with such talent not getting the attention they deserve... Colby your music will still be played on my soundsystems even when I'm gray and old someday❤
Well I'm already grey and old and this song is for today, right now! This belongs up there with Small Town and Rich Men of Richmond!!!! This should be more so much more, than it is now!!
It was an absolute pleasure working with you on this piece, Colby. Grateful for this song and your creativity - and especially grateful for the crew and location (Arbor Crest) for making the vision for this music video come to life.
I'm a little late to this song, but wow. A timeless message. Possibly the best song I've ever heard. Thank you for writing this, Colby. I hope the rest of the world listens and opens their eyes.
Hey I don't know if I am spelling this right check out John Prine Empires falls Might not be right title but you tube will take you there Good song same kind of message
Funny thing is that “the devil “ doesn’t do anything to me that I don’t do to myself mostly. The song really resonates with me. Thanks and don’t forget to enjoy today’s blessings.
Not sure how I didn't find this sooner! Great song, great message- Tells exactly what's happening! The things happening behind the scenes, while simultaniously being right in our face is crazy right now!
My sister showed me this song, I'm sure glad she did! Not only is it easy listening, the message is very important. Thank God for musicians who will sing for us.
@@trinityrectorthis song is not about worshipping satan. He’s saying that the world is deeply corrupted by satan, and that most people don’t realize it. And it’s the truth. All the gays, lesbians, transgenders, pedophiles, etc. they’re under the devils thumb
This song has a Stronger meaning in 2024, look all around today, the devil is really showing himself & killing us off. Lord Jesus told us about his plans, & their more visible than ever, Jesus is Lord. Stay Blessed Everyone!
Holy shit! Didn't expect it to be that exceptionally Deep of a message.... 👏👏👏👏 Beautiful lyrics When I was a child no one ever told us all the monsters would be human 😔
I expected the video to this to have millions of views! This song was reccomended to me on Spotify and it has been on heavy repeat the past couple days!
Oliver Anthony I found you today I'm 25 years old and your music gives me hope and I appreciate every word you say if you ever read this just no meeting you would be a blessing and I wanna thank you for inspiring me to be the best man I can be god bless.
I've been listening to this young man sing for about ten years now. Colby has always had that strong country sound in his vocals. His song writing is second to none. See ya down the road my friend.
Honored to have been a part of this. So grateful for the crew who helped make the vision for this music video come to life. Big shout to our friends at Arbor Crest for the beautiful location too!
hey colby been watching since i accidentally came across you playing drums and singing dont stop believing. watchin your musical style evolve over the years has been a lot of fun. dont ever change the music because a label tells you to.
It showes that the problems in the world going on right now isn't the doing it man but it's the devil and now more then every do we need to pray and study the word of God
It's so true .. make everyone comply.. concor and divide.. sound familiar? Make every one do as advised then when things go wrong it's your own fault for complying even with things made compulsory.. more people need to listen to these songs and realise how we are in places power means everything and your just a number.
Unfortunate that this narrative is disputed so heavily in today's culture. Were Americans. End of story. Our one and only enemy will always be overreaching government. Whether that be domestic or international. Amazing song, truly.
Walking, breathing, experiencing this century is really put into perspective for me through this song. We've bastardized the idea of "freedom" and live in a society capable of anything for self-gratification
Love this. Red & blue both don't care about you. Your neighbors do. We need to build up a sense of true community in this climate of fear and hate, and we need to make efforts to help and care for our neighbors across borders, cultures, religion and class. We're at a huge moment in USA's history. We can fall apart, or we can build a camaraderie of goodness and love, especially for the ones who are downtrodden and suffering. I deleted most of my social media, and it was the best thing I've done in a long time. It's so easy to be angry and scared when that's all you see in the world. Then you go outside and make an effort to be kind to each other, to help people around you, and you share smiles and life, and that hope is rekindled. We have to remind ourselves and each other that we are one nation, and together, we are vastly more powerful than the greatest of tyrants.
You are absolutely correct. I wish that the majority of the people had this mindset. Unfortunately, we still have a lot of people who are loyal to one party over another instead of being loyal to the country.
Such a great song. And the MV is really good, even if its simple. The aesthetic matches the song really well. I look forward to hearing more songs from you!
Got to get inspiration from somewhere no difference in hip hop Simone’s flows and melody’s get used and used by other artists just different words at least.
No it's not bro u have lost it in slave the world or some one killing someone in a song it's always fire or a vibe no it's a song some times good some times trash but a vibe no bro
I came over from just the song version here on RU-vid and before I heard the song I noticed the comments were turned off. At first I thought it was strange, then I seen when it came out and thought "hmm this should be pretty good..." And it didn't disappoint. Just cryptic enough to hurt some feelings, but not too obvious to where it is deemed hate speech. Good song brother.
Listening to this after i lost my mom in may, and drunk as shit now while puking and hearing the lyrics i get what you're saying. There's no meaning to the devil you're referring to other than what we deal with day by day. It can be literally anyone you deal with in life, including yourself, ill try to remember this more as i move forward in life
