23:07 builder does look a lot less restrictive. I don’t think you were able to get 98 ball handling and 94 speed with ball with contact dunks last year. And if you did your defense would’ve been terrible or your shooting would’ve been awful. Glad to see it’s not as limiting as last year

I’m definitely excited now that season games counts as XP for seasons. This builder is literally a cheat code bro but it’s the detail orientation that fucks me over with the game so many little things can change your entire build but I understand what animations and other aspects of the game I can get and use. Definitely freestyle scrimmaging and going to play the game first before doing anything in the park and playing rec I need to know what play style I can benefit for.

Gameplay is king, but they definitely addressed some/most issues and added interesting features. Fingers crossed the gameplay pulls through!

There was another screenshot that was shown in the builder breakdown at the part where they revealed the ability to see what animations you qualify for. Idk if it was just me, but that build looked pretty crazy, and it was very different from the 98 ovr builder screenshot…

6:09 They’re forcing us to play on an even playing field for a couple of weeks. The ability to spam your moves is a huge advantage for those purchasing their builds. Now you’ll have all your moves but have to play at the same speeds as your opponent for a while. I like it.

They need to add a feature where you choose when to activate your Gatorade boost or attribute boosts cuz everybody that preordered boost gon be going down when they start off in My career or whatever mode for my player they start and I rather save those boost for when I run rec cuz I’m starting off in my career first so I can get that level 5 takeover quick cuz that’s gon be a grind in the rec especially if you play random rec

Is max potential the badge tier and rating you get when you make your build or what you could have got? And if I can get max silver glove can I use elevator for legend or does it stay at silver? Say I get on ball menace at hof and it is at bronze then it can go to hof and then max +1 for legend? Is elevator just to make your badges level up faster or to go past what you can get?

It is good that they changed it but in my head, I feel like if I was going to buy a mountain bike I wouldn’t handover $5000 and then be like wonder what bikes they’re gonna decide I get…. It’s crazy to me that this is how it was.

Just don’t patch the shooting every week, that’s why I quit 2k24 after 3 months, was icy with my stretch big then boom no mas, fucc adapting why make us learn how to play the game again every season.

I think they addressed, on paper, a lot of issues. I’m excited for the smaller courts especially. The biggest thing I’m hoping to see is more stable servers. It’s the second year of cross play coming up, so hopefully they addressed the lag (especially in park really) rec pro am and theater were fine tbh.

10 minutes in. So on 2k24 when we create our player and it highlights EXACTLY which badges are available AS you're adding your attributes. How in the HELL is this supposed to be different. Up until THIS point. EVERYTHING about 2k25 is ON 2k24. The stuff they're calling changes are aren't even a issue. They're like. "The community is having issues with defenders not doing what they're suppose to. The right stick isn't the left and right hand like we said it was" "ok THIS year the right stick is to slide your feet left to right...to stay in front of the defender" TF? "ppl complaining about the defense stripping the ball when doing post moves' "ok put Wemby in the trailer doing a strip steal away from the rim. Say it's ALL NEW dynamics" "steals AND fouls during camera flip" "ok add a NEW 2k camera where the screen DON'T flip" I feel fkn disrespected at THIS point. Yeah and damn near took the whole video to write this bs lol

6'10 to 7'0 plus post scorers are gonnabe OP, with that speed and speed with ball attributes rework with your stamina and bodytype tied to Gatorade gym workouts if my interpretation is correct.

Haven’t watched the whole video yet but one thing they need to stop doing is dropping animations season by season. Drop all the animations when the game drops. Nobody wants to wait half the life of the game for some of the best animations…Seasonal drops should only be for cosmetic shit

I,would like to see a 3v3 no squads that’s actually no squads. you should be locked in once you walk in the damn door no keeping backing out until you’ve put the best team together. I still have a 65 win percentage with only no squads and I play with whoever I get but why the hell am I always sweating against a stacked team with an 89 and a 72 on my team. ITS GETTING RIDICULOUS!!
