I dropped my phone while it was on and it went black immediately and wont turn on, the screen is just black and the buttons do not light up if i hold them down. I want to open my phone and see what needs to be fixed. What should I be possibly looking for or try looking to replace? When I try charging my phone, my phone just heats up but it wont turn on.

hello... how can i spot a repaired s6 edge.. ? for example i will buy 2ndhand s6 edge and maybe the owner would not tell the repair history of the unit for them to easily resell it... what particular clues or points that would tell that the unit is already repaired? thany you and its a great video

If you open up the device first thing you'll be able to notice is possible finger prints. You'll notice some inconsistencies. That would be something quick to note.

Back is much harder to remove than you show and you have no suggestions for how to remove it without breaking it or removing the paint on the glass.

+Juniper McAffee The removal is difficult as the original adhesive with the back cover is on there well. Take your time and you should be able to remove it but again it's a delicate removal process.

Seems to be much more adhesive in the bottom of the screen, it does not just fall out like videos show. Maybe we are getting different versions.

+Jody Billings The display is put in place with very strong adhesive. On this video and some of our older ones the devices were repaired multiple times for the sake of getting the shots. We have since changed to a multiple camera setup and try and film the complete teardowns, so they more accurately show opening the device.

where is the part that deals with the phone signal? becauce i was changing my battery and now i dont have any phone signal for my simcard. can it be that i heated up my simcard whith my hairdryer?

+tony ganley mobile repair It's a process and you have to take your time on these units. Slowly work at it and you should be able to get the back cover off.

thats not how samsung officialy open the phone. first they put the phone in an oven at 80c for 10min then they use double suction cup (proprietary) tool to open the back cover..
