I don't like rap, but I love Nicki and her music and she really is a good person. She just has a sense of humor and personality that not everyone understands :p And some people can get a little aggressive when they feel threatened lol it's all normal
No Mariah was saying find a song that both country and rap...there are many out there do that the first time and wow them. She wasn't telling her to choose, Mariah was told to choose between Hip Hop/R&B and Pop when she first started then she made Fantasy the first pop song with a rap artist ODB which if you look now all artist are doing between Nicki, Ariana, Katy, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, etc..... Mariah started a revolution so she knows not to force people into things.
Not even sure why there was a debate. If she can master both songs like a boss, then that’s obvious that she’s very talented. and being a singer and rapper combo is very valuable to the industry I think

Them arguing about which genre you should do is nonsense. Do your thing, not what others want you to do. You are incredible on many levels the way you are. Don't fall into a rut some label wants you in. Be the next Carrie Underwood that can cut loose a quick tongue flip verse that makes heads spin. Some might say Ariana is the girl that does it all now, but I just don't feel her music. It's too, I don't know, industry Xerox copy sounding to me. The way you sing and how it sounds feels like there's more heart into it. That's the real deal right there. As an added side note, I think you doing a song featuring Krayzie Bone would sound pretty damn good.
+Xavier Gonzalez yes I did honestly I was so sick I could barely hear anything from my ears and i was nervous as heck!! I didn't know the song so I did go off key In that condition I should've stuck with the song I sang getting me through the prior 2 auditions (little white church ) that I knew like the back of my hand and was prepared for but I made a big mistake and learned my lesson from the embarrassment of sounding horrible I wouldn't have said 10 times though 😳☹️

I ADORE THIS GIRL. She's really a good singer. I am a huge fan of The Lacs and she is featured on one of their songs but I guess I never really paid any attention to look her up..till my friend played a song in her car called shotgun and I was like yep this is a badass song. She's by far a good singer.
