Man, who else missing the Frost Invasion? It was such a nostalgic event. As long as it lasted, I enjoyed its entirety. The music is good, and the event and gameplay itself are immaculate. And a lot of us were welcomed into TDS with the Frost Invasion, so it's just the best thing ever.
One of the most solid events brought to tds, although the new stun system broke medic's ability, and the devs didn't give us what was promised (pvp mode, reworks, etc.)
I remember when I played this gamemode for the first time. I never had accel, just ranger, mini and a few others. to this day Sledger is one of, if not my only event tower. the mechanics were also some of my favorites. the farms not working, making you use teamwork, the strategies you had to use instead of mindless placement, the quad paths everywhere, all of it. I'm so glad this was brought back in the new christmas 2023 event. so many memories.
I feel you, man. I remember I was barely even level 30 at the time and still somehow won it with randoms (albeit, after many failed attempts). Currently my only event towers are Sledger, Cryomancer, and Jester. This event made me have feelings I never knew existed lol
sledger was the only event tower i had at the time. dude is still my favourite event tower even though i have more event towers now. he's the best buddy ever :)
Tower defense simulator is a high quality tower game, it takes months just to finish a single update cause of the bugs and other stuff being recommended to the developers, I can already see that this update will be interesting.
i think tower defender is the high quality game in roblox because they got a different PVP to all roblox tower defense game (and is not a simulator game)
The existence of this OST makes me think that the development is nearly done, they just have to add other stuff like music then it will be released to the public. I still love Phoqus' works. He deserves a lot more recognition than he usually gets.
Winter Bliss is one of my favourite castle crashers songs, this remix has to be one of the best ones out there, my only problem is that the intense violin part from Winter Bliss is replaced by a slow electric guitar cover, the violin part had so much intensity, but I guess this remix goes for a more atmospheric place
I wish the Frost Invasion comes back as a permenant gamemode. We had it for so long it no longer felt like a event but a gamemode instead. Edit: Not only that, the Frost Invasion wasn’t based on any holiday, so it really felt like a special game mode rather than an event. Of course, it would need some major tweaks due to many reworks and the fire rate bug being fixed, probably have to increase the Frost Spirits health and many other enemies.
I actually rushed to check if the update was out. But man your music is always legendary.. dont just keep up the good work, keep up the LEGENDARY work bro! Love your music :D
when i played the christmas 2023 event and saw the 4 lane map and heard this music i got a huge rush of nostalgia, frost invasion brings so much memories for me i swear i used to play tds a lot during those times and the game actually got me through some rough stuff. The event was peak, i remember the excitement of when i got sledger and the constant adrenaline of defending against 4 paths, good old times man
The song is nostalgic due to what its remixing, winterbliss a song from castle crashers, castle crashers is a game from then 2000s, also the song is on newgrounds
Very interesting how you managed to make boss music into a major key with out making it sound wrong. Very well done! Judging from the length of the piece, it will be a VERY hard fight. Rangers/farms/accelerators will probably be a must edit: turns out it wasnt the boss music, but still impressive how it sounds sinister in a major key
@@elito7023 Too much grind for the people who wants to beat the event, so for example, people that are level 36 that want to beat the event but can't because of not being level 50, so they would literally grind to be level 50 then also get gems, it's not like they can play TDS the whole day lmao
It breaks my heart to know most people still complain because there are some bugs/delays here and there when all this effort goes into making even the soundtrack. Kudos to you phoqus, keep on making these works of art.
The small details like the air blowing in the background really puts the cherry on top as it really fits the environment Phoqus never ceases to amaze me with his music keep up the good work!
This was the first TDS event I played and it was kind of the introduction to Roblox because I joined in late 2020. This brings back so many memories from grinding with mr friends or doing hundreds of open lobbies with random people. I eventually beat it and the ledger is a sign of the best ads event ever. I wish this event could still be going on with all the fun memories I have had in this game. Now I am a big level but I can't forget this event. This song just reminds me of this.
Hearing this song in the Krampus Revenge event is just beatiful the song is so nostalgic for me since this was when i started to actually play tds and i gotta say Phoqus is One of the best persons of the team of Paradoxum game.
Objectively speaking frost event is not that good HOWEVER if we are talking about how much frost event change tds for the better, i completely agreed. This game change drastically since frost event dropped

The frost invasion event had the best soundtracks in my opinion, even tho I don’t really play TDS anymore (or Roblox in general), I find myself coming back to these videos a lot more than I would like to admit, well done Phoqus
