His looks like so much fun. "WHY WAS THAT EVEN THERE??" I'm cracking up.

They started speaking with the first LEGO game ever, LEGO Island, in 1997, and over ten games after that like LEGO Rock Raiders, LEGO Alpha Team, LEGO Creator (and even the Harry Potter spin-off), etc...

This may be the first time I have ever gotten excited about a LEGO game. I don't know what it is about it: The surprisingly well done look to the game, the variety in action, or the cutscene clips. I enjoyed this trailer, personally, though I can see why some wouldn't. (A parody of The Matrix in 2012? A Legend of Zelda jingle? Sure, why not) There's something about the oneliners that feels like they'd belong in an asdfmovie somehow, and I don't see how that could be possible.

Holy shit. They're going back to their Lego Island roots! I want this so bad, but there's one problem... It's a Nintendo exclusive. :c

I see a lot of potential in this game. I might buy it when it comes out.

I hope this isn't only going to be for wii U, I don't want to go out and buy another shitty game accessory that I'll never use again. Too bad this looks like a great game

It is for the WiiU, which will be much more powerful in hardware than the PS3 or Xbox, and its a Lego game, therefore not intended to be epic looking.

First, GTA reference as in the whole game (minus the storyline). Second, Matrix reference 1:22. Third, Mario reference 2:04.
