Or at the very least they could have done it with a better approach. They could've have even fast forwarded time a bit, to show the outcome of staying at the school, seeing these kids turn into adults, and starting off the story with AJ wanting to see more of the world. That would've made more sense. They could have then told the story more so from Aj's pov which in my opinion is where the story was going anyway. Hell you even got to play as him at the end of TFS. When they had everyone thinking Clem was going to die. It seemed like such a natural switch to happen, the same way it did from Lee to Clem. Not only would that allow for much more story to be told but it would answer a lot of questions as to what happened to all of them and where it's going from there. Instead Aj and the rest of the teens get washed away in the background like they didn't matter. It's one thing to leave out the teens and even Clem's love interest at that time (Louis or Violet) but it's a whole other thing to just leave out AJ. Clem would literally never do that. Their reasoning is so contradicting too towards the whole story of Clem. I think there would've been many better approaches they could have taken and yet they chose to do something so idiotic in my honest opinion. I read the first book of the Clementine post story and I have only heard about the second. From what I hear though it does not sound good at all. The first story was very bland and there was barely any character development. I was highly disappointed to see where this story ended up going especially being a big fan of TWD TTS. It's a shame. My only hope honestly is that someone takes it upon themselves to do a fan fiction that holds more justice to the story than the actual "canon" book they released.
