Yes, Theo, Offline Mode is definitely a huge win for us gamers. Losing games to server shutdowns is nasty work. A $70, paid, video game with a span of only five years of active playtime. Nasty work.
Meanwhile, Gran Turismo Sport was given an Offline Mode patch not too long ago which meant that it's forever playable and accessible without Internet. Not only was that a first in modern gaming history, but was a paradigm shift in the gaming landscape where oftentimes we lose access to games upon seever shutdowns.
@@Aggro224not really... I haven't played TC2 or TCM since the announcement that TC1 was getting shut down... I put a lot of hours of grinding into all 3 of the games and the announcement made me lose all the interest... However I'm going to reinstall both(unfortunately only 2) games and start playing them again
Cant play it. Tried again and the taa with the blur just ruins the game. Even with motion blur and DOF off game just looks like shit. Everything graphicly is maxed out...
Gotta agree, I never associate with the online, it being there was always just a hindrance for me.. being able to turn off my ps5 and come back to it and not have to reload from the main menu is a godsend, and can only happen with offline mode. I put a lot of time into the game and beat everything there has been, but I struggled through it. Seeing a big giant season 2 with a new map, new events, offline mode, and big changes really makes it a complete package finally
My facial expressions went from a straight serious face transforming into a genuine happy smile. Great news honestly. Sucks that they can’t do it for TC1 but at least their newer games will be saved. And hopefully other online only games will be too. I’m tired of seeing online only games turn into lost media
Personally, working mirrors is such a huge plus for me, it was the only reason why I would occasionally want to play FH5 instead. I play exclusively with a wheel and I'm always in interior view, so not having mirrors kind of throws me off, especially when they worked so hard for the 900 degree wheel rotation and 1 to 1 animation with a wheel. The prestige tickets are also a great addition for me, as I either forget to earn the summit car before the summit is over, or I just don't have the time to play, so being able to buy them later on is super cool.
Finally offline mode dontt have to worry about the Internet working or trying to enter 100 times and an error just pop up and this update is crazy good💯💯💯
Imagine that in the new expansion there were houses and pedestrians, i don't think this going to happen, but with the mirrors and the offline mode they are taking good steps
Honestly bro i wouldn’t put it past them. The mirrors and offline were so huge for me I wouldn’t be surprised if they added virtual real estate and pedestrians
As someone who quite literally stopped playing after missing a series of rewards while being on vacation (in Hawaii), having access to these will now bring me back. I hope developers are learning that always online and FOMO rewards are driving people away not encouraging people to play. Because I have the Crew 2 and Motorfest redownloading as I type this…
Offline mode for The Crew 2 and Motorfest is welcomed news indeed. If anything, this could improve sales and long term playability, since we can rest assured that we have access to the game for years to come. I can imagine the online servers going offline but the game is not locked out completely with an offline mode.
This is exactly the reason why I would rather play gran turismo 6 than gran turismo 7/sport anyday! because you can play gran turismo 6 offline forever! but newer racing games where online play is required makes me so upset, I legit bought the crew motorfest but couldn’t even start the tutorial because again I had to be online, and I wasn’t, so I haven’t played it it’s just been sitting there, but then I see this offline thing coming to the game and I couldn’t be happier!! Thank you developers!!
@@RonnieBrown223 Bro, I don't know how it works but I thought I heard that u just have to play the older playlist over, I'm going HAM on that, first day!
@@RonnieBrown223 bro, the reason y I love the prestige ticket was cuz, I couldn't get it neither but because I was on vacation, so having the opportunity to grind for it is just so beautiful! I just don't see how someone would hate on it.
i really love the prestige tickets, i really struggle getting platinum on most summits so I'm glad they're making more of them accessible. Excited for this update fr
Ivory tower i know your here reading this Thank you Thank you for listening Now I can travel to the crew motorfest and back to the crew 2 knowing that it'll stay with us😊 Btw ivory tower I still have my the crew 1 physical disc
@@MelvinThe123 Wrong ❌️: - I am happy that we are getting a new free island - I am happy that mirrors now work properly - I am happy that cops will be in the game - I am happy that we will be getting new cars like a Nissan GTR and Porsche 911 GT3 RS - I am happy that we are getting the Made in Japan Vol. 2 playlist But guess what, I was a Crew 1 player, and they took it down, with no offline mode. Its great that Crew 2 and Motofest will be getting it, but I want The Crew 1 done justice. It was the first The Crew game, it deserves better.
@@berkkarsi well I always look at it like This. At least we know that TC2 and TCM isn’t going anywhere in the future. They may have taken away one game, but the other two very good games are staying here with us.
Liking the look of the future of this game. Offline mode 👍Prestige passes 👍 New Island 👍 I believe they said that the Year 2 pass was free for Gold and Ultimate versions, may have misunderstood. If not this needs to be clearly communicated.
@@redhunnid5142 granted there is a 3rd party mod in development, if all goes well and Ubisoft doesn't pull a Rockstar games with a cease and desist, PC players might be able to play again at some point.
This makes me want to play The Crew Motorfest, the ability to play offline and be able to own previous exclusive rewards is in my opinion a very good update to the game.
Stopped playing since i lost my platinum rank to unlock your Skyline, i was top 1300th before being de-ranked in the last night... I'm about to redownload just for the prestige keys and unlocking your car as i should already have it, ngl so excited So excited about that OFFLINE PATCH too and OH MY GOSHthe NEW ISLAND and that pursuit aspect with the takedowns make me think of NFS MW2012 (in a good and extremely fun way) lol
We want to see Rolls Royce, Maybach, Lexus, Subaru, Mansory and the Mercedes G-wagon for vehicles in The Crew Motorfest. And more colors, color styles, materials, material styles and inserts for interior customization. Seriously, Ivory Towers can learn a thing or two from Midnight Club L.A. we should also have player homes like in The Crew 2
Absolutely love this update coming up. Things to do and work towards is well needed in Motorfest. Always kind of hated their summit system cuz i could never ever get the platinum rewards lol. No matter how hard i tried. So glad to see multiple ways to play
really great news and it shows that making some noise of justifiable complaint does give results. I ignored this game for exactly this reason but this news means now I'm all in. Nice
"We are the Furry Elite PD, and you better not mess with us 😡‼" ahh expansion. Jokes aside, that expansion does look fun, and super glad to hear The Crew 2 and Crew Motorfest are getting an offline mode.
You mean almost better than horizon 5 ... horizon just have the crew beat with cars looking like the crew trying to catch up with cars they better start adding car packs
@@jpcthename6282 I haven't played Horizon 5 and I'm talking about F:H4. It's just an opinion, man. Motorfest is really diverse in gameplay and doesn't have shitty servers
It took them a year after release to implement a offline mode. Hopefully KT implements a offline mode a year after release too. Since they want to follow what the big triple A game studios are doing no excuses now for TDUSC. Go ahead and keep following what the triple A studios are doing they’re implementing a offline mode. I expect to hear some type of announcement September 12, 2025. For a dedicated offline mode or earlier. It should be in the game with in 6 months of the announcement.
kudos to ivory tower for listening to us and learning from their mistakes with the crew 1 that is a relief to here and i hope every online title has an offline mode from here on out this is good for game preservation.
@@ojames1983if we’re talking from a corporate perspective, maybe. But to the actual people that want to keep it alive, it is very much not dead. Ubisoft has done almost everything at this point to make sure people never go back to it but the modders have already found their way in. Even though an offline mode exists for TC1 and they CAN do it, they have refused to do so
Offline mode, functional mirrors, exciting new cars coming, new games modes and a new map ? Yes, this is a real dedication towards the players, thanks Ivory Tower
The police chases were literally my favorite thing back in the original the crew, so I really like them bringing them to motorfest, but I don't really like the design of the police cars...they look weird and not like actual police cars with the over the top neon and the giant "chase squad" text all over them. I really hope they also bring out proper police cars eventually. Just existing cars with police liveries and police lights on the roof. The offline mode is huge news. Now we just need Ubisoft to bring back the original the crew and remove its login requirement.
They cannot have actual Police because they have Licenses with Brands (Toyota, Renault, Lancia, and some others) that *forbid* Police Chases in their Licensing Deals, the "Chase Squad" (Be the Cop) was the only way they could add Cops back without Causing those Brands to Remove their Licenses.
@@simeonyves5940 Well, then they should negotiate better licenses. They managed to do it in the original game, so if they would try, then they would be able to do it again.
@@chris6ix. It is the Car Companies *themselves* who are Saying No! Ubisoft could offer them all the Money in the World and a Cheese Sandwich and it would *Still* be No! because the Car Companies want to Protect their Public Relations Images in China, Indonesia, the Middle East, and Several Other Strict Communist or Islamic Nations were being seen to Promote "Criminality" would lead to their Cars being Boycotted! there No is No and now amount of Money is going to change that!
Bro what is this comment section blinded by new releases and dlc hype they took away a better racing game in the same franchise and have the guts to release a offline patch for lesser games and everyone excited have you not forgotten we lost something better ? Unreal man graphics aren’t everything it’s the game itself it was more fun and true to 2000 car racing.
Fu$k Yes 🙌🏾 offline mode means insta buy. So happy!!! I wonder if this will cause an uptick in The Crew sales that will influence devs to ALWAYS include offline mode!
As a diehard fan of LoveLive Nijigasaki High School Idol Club and Racing games in general, the OFFLINE MODE in THE CREW 2 and 3 Motorfest is such a MASSIVE addition! TDU SOLAR CROWN and GRAN TURISMO 7 should take note of this example from THE CREW 2 and 3 Motorfest.
I just want to THANK Ubisoft for caring about us enough to add offline!!! I own so many games and most of them obviously you can’t play during a storm or travel. This is a W!!!
Guess I chose the right time to buy Motorfest! Just got it the other day, now I've got offline mode pretty much right out the gate and new island, awesome
Offline mode makes me so excited. I sorta stopped playing after the crew 1 shutdown. Because I don’t wanna loose all my time spent and money. I’ll be sure to start car collecting again.
Well motorfest really want to be the number 1 in the car games and i really like that because ivory tower really known who make content for this game look the content in the crew 2 its a interesting example.
