7:11 this teacher is fucking wholesome, this moment really touched me, a big thumbs up to this teacher. During our online learning at college, we’re all freshman, so we feel really embarrassing and stressful. Each time our teachers ask a question to us and we answered wrong, we ALWAYS apologize to the teacher (which I think it isn’t normal) and the teacher looked disappointed about our answer even though we just started to learn. This only makes us to feel even more embarrassing, stressful and unwilling to learn.

As an archery instructor myself, I was actually very impressed with Paul. I know that he is a level 4 coach, which is only one level below Olympic, but he is very good at explaining each step. I was surprised when he mentioned the 12 steps because that's usually a more in-depth explanation of form. He knows how to talk to people very well and I think that Offline TV had better form immediately than most of my students. I was expecting a video of them using an improper form and crappy bows, but what I was met with was a very good organization in California. As a person who is actively training in barebow archery, I always love to see people I like to watch on RU-vid shoot with actual recurve bows (cause compound is a lot of equipment for someone just testing out lol) and with an actual instructor. This coach was super awesome and I love that he really encouraged form and had them “blank bale” shooting to start because target panic do be real. I also love that he made it a bit like a therapy session/meditative because that’s how I prefer to view and practice archery as a sport. It really makes you think about your body and the shot cycle and that’s one of the many things I love about it. Great work guys!

The balloons thing is genius. Who hasn’t done some hand eye coordination task and noticed an improvement after letting go. “In the zone”, “something clicked” and “I started feeling it” are ways we typically describe what he was trying to train by that exercise.

I really like how the coach went into detail about the mind and how your attitude can effect your shooting, i’m a young archer myself and shoot competitive. He’s encouraging them to stay positive and giving them nice complements. Because when they started shooting at the one face target they were all over the place bc they were in their heads thinking “oops that sucked” not “that’s alright, I can do better next time...”
