I did the Bloomfield track with a mate in 2015 on sports bikes I had a Kawasaki ZX1400 & my mate on a Kawasaki ZX1000 the river crossings were hard with the loose rocky bottoms and we had to wait for the exit to dry if a 4WD had just gone through as we couldn’t get traction in the wet dirt to get up the hill on the exit side. The most memorable bike trip I’ve done. Will be doing it again 1 day in my 76.

😮 I would love to do cairns to cape on a enduro bike.. that would be just awesome. Seen so many up there, even doing the OTT

Hi Aaron and Steph love your videos!.. would also love to see what you have done to the 76 for towing. Looks to be well setup! My folks are planning on towing a 3.2t van with theirs and would love to know experience from REAL PEOPLE

First time I’ve watched your channel and really enjoyed the good vibes you have. Just subscribed and looking forward to seeing your next episode. I’ve seen other travellers doing that track and they all have their issues towing vans eg overheating etc . But your rig smashed it👍

Hi Team great to see a big Van get towed up the Bloomfields track not many do it. I like the challenge the the higher in command is to scared and we aren't evan there yet. What did you EGT get to ??

Definitely a challenge 🤣 and we enjoyed every bit of it. EGT went as high as 530 on the 31% hill which isn't too bad really.. was expecting alot higher 🥵

That’s steep isn’t it, I did it in a 76 with a camper trailer and though I’ll be right in high 2 🥺 I ended up stalling out and had to take off again in low 1st Then we meet the school bus coming the other way at the top 😂😂 Really enjoying watching your episodes 👍👍

Oh God yea, crazy angles but so much fun. One of the tracks we have been on so far that's for sure, and the loins den at the end is just the cherry on top. Awesome mate, glad you are enjoying them 😉

Guys you have guts. Impressed u took your 22ft heavy as van (assuming 3.5t). Take my hat off to you. I didn’t have the guts to do it last year. I was stressed out getting down the range into cairns 🤣. I’ll do it with the ultimate no issues.

Cool vids guys. Great work with the kids in tow. Was low range up concrete track OK? Ie diff wind up?

Thanks mate, yea it wasn't too bad. The stretches of low range weren't to long and popped it back in 2WD. The decent down the big side had the 180 deg turn which wasn't the kindest thing in low range though

Hi Terry, yes we remember you! 👋 What an awesome little spot Ravenshoe was. We are slightly delayed, need a few episodes up our sleeve to cater for the kids getting sick and editing etc. Our 1st cape vid will be launching next week. So not to far away. The Bloomfield was a beautiful drive, highly recommend even without the van for a day trip. So lovely meeting you guys 🥰
