Born and brought up in the Umzinto area and moved to Cape Town 24 years ago. You cannot get into the water in winter in Cape Town as the guys are doing here. Right now it's bitterly cold here and heavy rains. Thanks for the video bro, had the privilege of watching many moments like this at Rocky Bay.
Hi Nelson, One has to appreciate the climate we have in Durban, it is really beautiful, I was in Cape Town for a short period during my South African Navy days, I know all about it, I think it's time to move back🤣🤣🤣, thank you for watching and take care
@@offroad4life never ever coming back there bro. Cape winter is bad but other than that it is great here. You must visit Blouberg Strand and see the spectacular Table Mountain view from there. All the entertainment spots there are something you will not forget. Was in in my hometown last year and was not impressed at all about how the town has gone to the gutters. But will always visit just for the fishing. Really missing the fried sardines and dhal.
I've always wanted to see the sardine run in person and last year by the time I got to Toti from Isipingo, they had already netted it. Thanks for the upload, seems FUN and didn't know about this shoal 😅👌
Hi Michelle, that's what happens during the Sardine Run, one has to look every day and "run" around to try and spot them, I guess one has to follow the netters, thank you for watching and take care 🙏
From Germany , I like this Nice video so much, never see this before, I was offen in Amanzimtotie on Holiday but always in Summer. So Nice to See that all the people are helping. Love From german❤
Good morning bro can you do a footage on the sardines netting with the various types of fishes caught in the net no one has ever done it thank you awesome footage lots of sardines plenty work also lots of amazement take care and stay safe keep on pressing on
It's an absolute pleasure, Reggie. There are some occasions that other than Sardines, Red Eye, and Macker are caught, I will definitely capture any order species caught, thank you, and take care
Nice but some of the fun taken away though. I remember many years ago when I lived in the area people of all ages used to go to the beach with all sorts of containers to get a share. Now I see the "big boys" nets are dominating and taking the Lion share. I remember my parents telling me how my late big brother bunked school one year, emptied his school bag and went down to the beach grabbing some Sard's with it.
It is Sikander, sight chill this morning, it did warm up, lots of Sardines this year, 3 nets dropped, 3nets netted, thank you for watching and take care
