COMMENT: Do you support the existence of “offshore banking” and think it’s a citizen’s “duty” to lower their tax burden as much as possible - Or do you think it’s all a sneaky way for the rich to avoid helping those with less money?
Paying taxes, thus contributing to society should be regarded as a citizen's duty. It would be ideal if there were some say in how this money is to be spent by the government.
@@sphtpfhorbrains3592 And there is no say, how money is spent so it is logical to avoid taxes. Society is big and diverse thing different people live there with different values and quite often opposing values, so why just pay in and accept that money is spent for benefit of opposing groups or even worse money is spent to indimidate or oppress you. Less money government has, less power it has. More power for government mean less freedom for you. And it is just especially stupid to pay for that your freedoms will be decreased.
@@juliemccauslin5807 Best reason why people could hold they money in offshore banking is foreign currencys to escape high inflation that seems normal policy in dollar. Same time its seems unreasonable, that US government spends so much tax payer money on military. USA has hundreads of bases on foreign countrys it pays hundreads of billions military aid for other countrys for local tax payer money. WHy should any invidual agree with this, yes country has its ambitions, but why should people pay for it.
I support offshore banking and any other ways wealthy people use for tax avoidance vs evasion. If you're smart enough to figure out the system, you deserve to be able to leverage it to make it work for you.
Offshore banking is invetiable. In world where governments dont care invidual intrests and only see humans as another tool in governing workbox it is only right that humans look out for they rights. Rights and freedoms are never given they are taken. ANd you can ask premission to be free, you just need to be free act as free invidual.
It's part of education. It needs to be taught in school. If we continue to walk around blind to the inept system then off shore will be nessary. We should be able to protect and grow our wealth right at home. Our own country should be just as safe as offshore. It comes down to those two issues.
They'd ever wanted everyone to have this info. The school system was set up to develop worker bees. Family should teach this at home. Family should teach financial responsibility. Family should develop Financial Collective Spirit family should have leadership. School system is to work out none thinking worker bees and it has always been. It is a family's duty to teach this Spirit responsible father's, uncle's, and grandfather setting up the structures and teaching them the young men. Women too but I'm concerned with all the men that know nothing about leadership, structure, and finger pointed the wealthy. Teach it in your own family or be quiet
@@kellyroyds5040nice excuse and if it wasn't in books for the last sixty years and explained clearly, then you'd have a point. LOL. Families that can read, have always had access to this. It's called digging. When you look at successful people, people look at what they have but not how they got there. If families would ask those questions, then they'd be fine. It's been in books for decades. LOL
@@Lvaladez114you're talking to a guy that was raised in a horrible House of Horrors and is now the only Survivor. There is no excuse. Pull the family together, heal the wounds, establish leadership, it's very tough but it's doable. People live on excuses and their past. I tried talking to my siblings about this but they turn to drugs and alcohol and they're never here. I've tried to get them to read this stuff forever, if the family doesn't do it, then they fail together. These days, my children and grandchildren are listening. No excuses
You might want to consider the books written by the Stanford Research Institute associate Anthony Sutton: "Wall Street and the Rise of Hitler" and "Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution".
Every citizen of the globe deserves offshore banking. Unfortunately the education systems of each nation have been unreliable with their information in regards to this very important issue, that safe guards people against radical, damaging government policies, that diminish peoples/families wealth.
What each of us do with our hard earned money is not anybody's business, much less of corrupt politicians and bureaucrats. If secrecy & confidentiality should no longer exist, why don't they lead by example and disclose all their stuff first? 🐂 💩
Someone dared me to open a Swiss bank account around 1987. I accepted. A co-worker’s attorney had an account in one in one of the the Islands. If one pays their share in tax, why not?
Protection and privacy. Look at what happened to our Canadian friends bank accounts when they did not fall in line with the government policies. Let's ask the Canadians how they feel. We are not that far removed from government overreach.
Well there is intresting definition what is legally. Real question is does government have right to tax you. Lets make example USA. Even if you are not living USA and are cityzen you have to pay taxes you pay taxes for what? you dont get nothing for it back. Most countrys tax only if you use country juridical and economical infrastructure. worst idea of taxing is wealth tax, that practically mean if you have money you will be taxed, that means if you dont earn new money you wealth will decrease quite fast. And you need to answer for do you realy have to pay thouse taxes and why. Why not hide your wealth and reorganize your income on countrys that will not try to tax yourself oblivion. taxes are basically arbitary robbery from government who says we are big and strong and you winn have to pay to us. There is no real rationality in modern taxing system. In Medevial time you payd taxes to ruler, for land use what belonged ryler and for protection of foreign conquers or bandits. Now you just pay and government says you need to pay more we have more ideas how to spend your money.
@@asjaosaline5987 In medieval times, the peasants paid 10% to the ruler, in the modern US, it's 20-50% on income, 8-16% payroll taxes, + property taxes, + personal property taxes, +sales tax, +inheritance tax. The US govt collects this money and gives it to foreigners. Europe supposedly taxes more, but if one really could keep track of actual taxes paid, W. Europe vs US, I think it's closer than people realize as Americans are used to only comparing income taxes.
@@deadcatbounce3124 Some european countrys have even far over 80% taxes. In Finland Calcualted tottal for Middle class is 93%. And basically in thouse countrys people advovate for high taxes and say, well government give you all your need. Government has no idea what people need, high taxes mean no freedom. Findland Is society where government grabs all your money and if you live in Finland well most things are free, but if you wish to retire in random country then all thouse benefits dont carry on. And even if you live in locally you are never safe from crisis . Thats why taxes should be low everyone decides what they need and buy that service. Good example is Education, who you should pay for public brainwasing, you could buy private education and dedicde what you learn. or If you live heatly lifestle why you pay taxes on overall fund or even buy insurance, better pay from your pocket if you need.
