We had Brittany and her family out on this fishing charter to celebrate her 30th birthday! We started out loading up the livewell with pilchards and then headed offshore. Tuna was the first target and after an hour we caught our limit and then released some more! After that we headed to the swordfish grounds and started drifting. It was quiet for 5 hours and finally we caught a couple mahi to break up the monotony. We set up for one more final drift and sure enough hooked up to a swordfish! After 45 minutes Brittany had her first ever swordfish in the boat and then we headed back to Bud n' Mary's Marina to weigh and fillet our fish!
