Offshore Hoist Operation 

The Leonardo AW169 was, in close cooperation with the manufacturer, specially configured for hoist-use on the open sea. This is where HeliService has demonstrated its pioneering spirit by being the first operator worldwide, to use the AW169 specificially for offshore use.
Here you can see our PapaJuliet, our fourth AW169 machine, on one of its many offshore missions on a service platform in the North Sea - always a reliable and advanced companion during every hoist operation. The advanced progression in the area of hoisting has also been demonstrated at HeliService through the years: HeliService was the first helicopter operator in Germany to use the Leonardo AW139 with a specially assembled Goodrich double winch.
